Nice job keeping the Glamily together with your kind comments and posting great pictures. I still tune in often. Adam is so special. We have been fans for a long time and I think we're getting impatient for him to reach the next step up that ladder to superstardom...which I still believe is in the offing. Had company for Easter from Oregon. Haley's (SP?)cover of Adele's Rolling in the Deep came up. My niece thought that she did a good job, but didn't have the right emotion for the lyrics she was singing...smiling a little too much. Suddenly her husband says..."the singer on Idol that did the best job of conveying emotion in the song being sung was Adam Lambert. He is an actor as well as an awesome singer". Don't you all love it when that happens out of the blue?

The highlights in his hair are mildly reminiscent of his hair in Crawl through Fire, don't ya think?

Agee, LMB, the makeup, overdone eyebrows, goatee and mile high pompadour a little too much, when remembering how drop dead handsome he was at the Grammys. He's always beautiful, but waiting for this faze to pass. Too much distraction from basic perfect face and looks too much like a caricature of himself. Loved the outfit! He knows how to rock the clothes! The hair is reminicent of Crawl thru the Fire, but not as high. Like the color, just not so Bride of Frankenstein high. Just don't want to give the haters more fuel to make fun of him. Probably shouldn't have posted this. Just a really unimportant view in the scheme of things, airing my thoughts. Thank you, glitzylady and daydreamin for the pics and Adam interview! What a gorgeous man, those eyes...I love the ensemble he is wearing tonight, very elegant. I'm glad he was selected to present. He has said before he really admires Max Martin and hopes to work with him again so it was very meaningful for Adam to present such a prestigious award to him.

This is a new article from The Hollywood Reporter discussing "The Voice" versus "American Idol" and mentions Adam in this excerpt:

I loved your story of your niece's extremely wise and very intelligent husband who can hear and see what we see...My 92 year old father in law thinks Adam has a wonderful voice as well, after exposing him to some "strategically" placed music this past weekend. Once anyone actually hears Adam singing something of substance they are hooked. I started out my f.i.l. with "Come to Me, Bend to Me" and went from there..A little Stealth mission...and a successful one at that!

I'm up early, having slept poorly. Giant Donald Trumps were chasing me demanding my birth cert. and college grades! I kept showing him my passport and diploma but that wasn't enough for him. That's what I get for watching 3 hours of news shows till midnight!

Last night here on site was a little disturbing. I felt bad that JM decided enough was enough and said goodbye. So I closed DELL-A early.Early for
ME anyway.

I am glad these pictures made many fans happy, but I think they're horrible. He looks 40+ and I can't help mentally comparing them to his recent Idol performance when he sang Aftermath and looked like a mid-20s clean faced angel. I will wait out this look and pray for his next phase to be less SILENT MOVIE BAD GUY COME TO RAVISH

Don't worry JAK, Adam is always changing it up. Underneath all his various looks is still the same amazing man and voice ever.I know how much you love him, and we all have our favorite look for him. But we need to let him experiment and evolve as he wishes and know underneath he is still the same adorable and talented Adam.

He is handsome but the hair is too high. He looks like a Magician at Las Vegas, a handsome Magician but it's classier if he lowers the height of the hair. I'd like to know who his hairdresser is these days. But I do like the facial hair but the big poof up top is over the top imo.

Ha funnbun- I agree donald trump's an idiot, also I am an idol fanatic but I loved the voice show. Love adam but not crazy about the high hair.

In reference to the article in the Voice, as we have seen you don't have to win AI to be successful in the music industry. Those performers named did not win(Lambert, Hudson, Daughtry),but have had very successful careers because they have talent, stage presence, and self-confidence. Some of the winners have kind of disappeared into small clubs or venues or have not done well with their recording careers. I just think after 10 seasons, AI either needs to revamp its format, get different judges or just end its run. For me, Adam Lambert was the best performer to come out of AI and if it weren't for that show, we may never have heard of this exceptionally talented singer. He set the bar so high that I just can't get invested into any of the other performers since then. We as a viewing audience are also getting saturated, inundated with these reality music, dance shows. Does everyone out there think he/she can sing or dance? Society is obsessed with celebrity and fame. People are famous for doing nothing and it doesn't speak well to the young generation out there looking for role models. And finally, I am not crazy about this look on Adam, a bit too much(hair, makeup and facial hair), but he is just so handsome that I guess I can go along with it until he changes it up once again.

Love Adam. He is usually on top of style. Have to agree with another poster the beard and goatee remind me of a chia. I think he is doing it for the boyfriend. Don't worry he would have to love you to wear it IMO. Maybe this phase will move on soon.

agree with that article....Love Adam in the white jeans. Thought JD'S and Jacobs were both very unflattering tonight, made them both look huge around the middle.
Haven't got time to look at all the picture links tonight (off to bed soon),but will admit (even though I have kept quiet so far) that I'm also on team shave. I'm not very keen on the beard, but then I don't like beards on anyone, and it definitely makes him look a lot older. Love the outfit and the green eye liner though...

Adam should FOOL everyone in the biz by reverting back to his original hair color (hair, eyebrows, etc.) for his next album! His fans, paparazzi and the public in general would go WILD!!!!!

Pics fantastic. I don't think Adam should go back to origonal color. You know why he did the face hair, it's not that deep. He was creating a conversation, and boy-o-boy did he ever. Job well done , Adam, even if I personally rather see a clean face, what ever he does, he is still our faboulous ADAM :)

I would like him to gradually head toward original color....Dyed black is too harsh, maybe drop down to a nice rich dark brown, then a med.
brown, then light brown, much easier to maintain and we've seen him with every color and except for the cruise ship bright yellow, most of the looks were great................JAK

Love the hair with the brown highlights, and the pompadour. the goatee, the fashion, the flash, the makeup. What's not to like, this guy is drop dead gorgeous! Saving this page so I can go back and look...often.

So glad to see the comments here. It is healthy to write what you think about Adam. This is mostly about his new look, but what if we saw him going down a destructive path? The "yes people" the famous become surrounded by never say what really IS. (Michael...try another method for your insomnia...Elvis, perscription pills are dangerous drugs,too...etc.) It is still a little strange for me to acknowledge this, but Adam is like a family member to me. We can criticize from a caring standpoint..and I think he tunes in to this which shows how healthy he is!
Now if only the Donald's children would speak up..or NBC. But the big D is too far gone to notice the cartoon he has become.

@ Daydreamin, Just watched the Sauli/ Tutka Road Show. Thanks for the links. Couldn't understand a word, wish it was translated, but these two are so much fun to watch! Their energy and enthusiasm are so catching and they have such welcoming body language. Sauli is such a ray of sunshine and glad Adam has him in his life. He seems like such an easy fit for him and think he has the whole Adam fame thing in the right perspective, which isn't easy. OT.. As I said on other thread, Donald Trump really knows how to push my buttons. He's the classic example of the "Ugly American" that gives America a bad name. He's rude and will never apologize or admit he was found to be a maniulative outright liar. What's so astounding, is there are still ignorant people that can't or won't differentiate truth from fiction and ignore basic logic. Amazing and frightening how some can be manipulated. Sorry for rant, just disappointed in realization of how prevalent predjudice still is in this country, sidetracking what really needs to be done to strengthen and support issues that are critical instead of this political ego, power struggle. Has anyone noticed that Adam's eyes look green in some of the pics? It's amazing how his eyes change colors like that. Love the hair but the mustache/goatee has got to go. It's not very flattering on him and I hope he gets rid of it soon.

The green liner under lower lashes really brings out his fab eyes, Think if brows were't so over powering and hair wasn't so abnormally high, the look wouldn't have been as caricature, opera character looking. JMO funbunn40

@Eva - he is talking about running for president in 2012. Droning on and on about Obama not being a US citizen - show us the birth certificate, and so on. Also that how did Obama get into Yale or Harward ( sorry dont know which he went to), saying he was such a bad student (grade wise), and just crap like this! Absolutely gorgeous man!! Looks great no matter how he wears his hair. It's amazing how he can garner so much media attention just for his beard. Smart move! And, when he decides to shave or change it up (And, you know he will) there will be more media attention! STARPOWER!!!!!!
