Ot} what this about Queen singing on american idol april 25th, without adam lambert. Who are they going to have sing and is adam going to appear on idol at all? Chris allen sang tonight BTW- he was o.k not rockin like our adam but did well enough. I of course want adam to sing his own songs on idol, not with queen this time- confusing but then again I got this info from yahoo- which sucks!Anyone know for sure if adam's ging to be on idol? (may 17th maybe- hopefully he need this)

Also OT but just read an interview with Adam and he said this -- esp. about the meaning of 'Shady' being about the night he met Sauli!:

Not being able to feel safe because of the love you've chosen. It really is difficult. This song comes from an honest place and it's very real. I hope it can encourage and invigorate people, as I think it stimulates your feelings and it's a song many can relate to. By letting my emotions all hanging out, maybe I can reach people who feels the same sorrow, and show them that you are not alone."

Adam will be able to make great strides in Japan because they love him there and almost everywhere really. Sometimes if people can look past certain seemingly unacceptable norms, their minds can be freer and see things from a broader perspective. :)

The Japanese cover art for Trespassing where Adam's name and the title are vertical as opposed to the horizontal layout, is interesting and the element of surprise in Adam's expression entices. Both are very nice. :)

It is totally separate from Queen + Adam Lambert, which includes Roger and Brian and Adam. Adam, as far as we know, will be performing NCOE on the second to the last Idol show, the top 3, on the 17th of May.

You're right, the countries you mentioned had so much fun when he visited them. The Singapore welcome they gave to Adam, I was moved to tears; especially, where they had a big spacious tentage and the queue stretched across three big blocks of buildings/shopping malls; just to get his autograph. And the way these SingBerts do the Adam chant...Adam Adam Adam...my goodness; even at the airport. They also welcomed him with fireworks amid their Adam chanting. For some unknown reason to me, Adam always touches down in Singapore first and then onward from here. Adam came twice and were presented with gold/platinum plagues by SonyMusic which has its headquarters here. By the way, Adam performed at the Pantages Singapore and wow! the acoustics, phew! because it's a fairly new joint venture between Universal and Singapore so the theatre acoustics is fresh and exquisite. And Broken Open exactly needed that, Mad World etc. Second visit, the crowd was 21000 strong at the Padang, a huge open expanse/field. I better stop, a lot lot more... LOL! :)

I have been thinking a lot lately about why stations haven't been playing him. I felt gutted then it came to me. ADAM is a true artist I would love for him to have number 1s all over the place. Thats not happening. We will all continue requesting, buying and loving him & his music. True artist don't come along everyday and ADAM is one of the best!

I wish people will stop posting negative thoughts in this site. You are just inviting negativity to his career. In the book "Secrets", you are not even suppose to mention the name of your competitors. Instead of strengthening Adam's vibe, you are transmitting this to the other artists. So please STOP IT!

Adam has read the book and is practicing it by being very positive.

Queen (Roger & Brian) are mentoring on Idol next week and the Queen Tribute Band will be performing on the results show the next night. Roger has put a lot of work into forming and producing the Queen Tribute Band and I, for one, am looking forward to seeing/hearing them perform. It won't be the same as Freddie performing with Queen, nor Adam performing with Queen but I'm going to watch the performance with an open mind.

Lucky Japanese to have an extra bonus song. I don't know why every country isn't able to have all the bonus songs. Also, why are physical single CDs released in some countries and not in others, and why the different release dates of Adam's music in different countries? If someone could explain the reason/s, I'd love to know them.

I'm sorry but where do you get this information, sound like a version of telephone. Adam has already told us what these songs are about. ADam writes about a much broader meaning than all about Sauli. The Queen info is all wrong/

I wish Adam would release the same version of the CD in every country, so we all could by all the song.If each country have his own bonus song,I hope we would be able to by the ones we don't have on Itunes. I think I'm gonna hire a secretary of special Adam's affairs , that way I won't miss a thing or a song!

4:02, I hope your info is the correct info. I got awfully confused here for a while. Brian and Roger will MENTOR and the TRIBUTE band will perform. Sounds right. I can't even imagine Brian and Roger performing on Idol (or anywhere else, for that matter) without Adam. Wouldn't feel right at all.

Can't wait for Adam's night on the 17th. I'm assuming that this is correct info, too.

When Brian and Roger mentor on Idol I wonder if they'll get a chance to mention Adam's name at all?

In the interview quoted by 9:44 anon, it was very revealing as Adam talks about his most memorable experience and meeting Sauli. It is amazing how much that relationship has changed his life and affected his music in the songs he wrote or co-wrote. Adam is so honest and caring about others facing some of the difficuties and challenges he has encountered as a gay individual in a society that is so easy to judge someone who is different and yet so talented. It seems he has poured his heart and soul into the making of this new album and in the course of this relationship with Sauli he has become a happier, more content, more positive individual because of the love and acceptance he now has in his life. Wouldn't it be wonderful if each one of us had that one special person who inspires, enriches and loves us as Adam has with Sauli. I really feel so happy for Adam because he certainly deserves it.

Adam deserves all the happiness in the world.

OOL and Underneath are two companion pieces. They say so much in two different ways. Their feelings are so eloquently expressed and so genuinely heartfelt. Besides that, they are exquisitely written and performed. People of all walks of life should hear these songs. They apply to us all.

I just bought a single CD of BTIKM from Germany. It cost as much as the complete TREAPASSING album. But I wanted it for the cover art, and to make my collection complete. I will now be on the lookout for a single CD of NCOE, which I am sure will also be pricey. But, as an Adam Collector you have to do these things. (OOPS, mis-spelled TRESPASSING - sorry).

According to Wikipedia, Adam will be performing NCOE (he did tell me he would be singing his new single! on May 3rd with the top 5 finalists!!!!
