Love what ADAM said:

Lambert explained that he is simply "going to sing how I always sing. I’m ADAM and I’m going to sing how I always sing. Obviously it’s different material and from a musical perspective it’s slightly different, but that’s my voice. I will use my voice, of course."

Adam Lambert will sing as he always does....amazingly well. I watched his performance on the EMAs and if he sings as spectacularly as he did there, he will blow them all away. I just hope that we here in the states get some great vids of Adam and Queen or I will certainly be very disappointed. All those who have tickets to see these performances are very lucky indeed.

The first part of 2012 has really been a great for Adam Lambert. He is so proud of the release of his second album Trespassing because of all the hard work he put into the writing and producing of it. Now there will be the concerts with Queen and Elton John. Could it get any better for him? He is an international star and it will shine even brighter after these performances. Then it's back home for other mini concerts to promote the album. I wish Adam all the best both in his professional and personal life.

I saw that there are tickets now available for the Hammersmith Apollo again. My daughter is going to UK with her friends for the Olympics but in August. She also want to see ADAM with QUEEN with me but the timing is wrong. She has summer classes. I remember I gave her my Queen CD when she was pre-teen but never gave it back. She said she would love to experience ADAM with the QUEEN.

Queen and Adam need to trek to the other side of the world next year.

I agree that Queen and Adam need to come here to the states, but by next year I would think that Adam would be touring on his own for the new album. He has briefly mentioned something about putting a tour together, but my impression was that it won't be ready until next year. He still has a lot of these mini promo concerts to do promoting Trespassing and will probably travel internationally again as the album is released in other countries. I have never seen Adam in a live performance and I don't know if I ever will, but checking this blogsite and all the videos that appear is the next best thing to being there. I can experience it vicariously that way.

@ 5:59 A.M........JAK here

Me too! I have never and will never see Adam perform live. He came along about 10 years and 4 or 5 medical "conditions" too late for me. But as soon as Idol was over, season 8, I broke a vow! My husband and I had decided to become the last people of our generation to kick off without ever owning a computor. We had ZERO desire.

One of us changed our mind........
after Idol the thought of "No more Adam" made me a little shaky". I grieved a couple months, then whined to my daughter and son in law that I was having withdrawal pains. They said "He's all over the computor...he's on tour!"
I handed my son in law my credit card and said "Go buy me one and give me a few lessons!"

And that's how DELL-A entered my life! and...I became a Glambert (elder division)...and my husband started his eye rolling and occasional teeth grinding...and I didn't care cause I was having so much fun!

JAK here..again

That's a stunning in action photo of "The Wolf"!

I listened to a very long very good documentary of Queen that I had taped (yes I still VCR) some time back.....last night.

It was great picking out the songs I HOPE Adam sings with Queen. In addition to universal favorites I hope there are a few of those great "bordering on opera" songs
that the band did. Rock opera for sure! I've always wanted to hear Adam take a whack at the real thing....Opera that is....he has the range.

It's going to be a lovely summer!
