Very positive write-up. Nice!

Just came on to write a little "heads up" and found this item, so happy, this is great.

Anyway, home today doing marathon present wrapping session :), just saw promo for Monday's Wendy Wiliams and it's a rerun of Adam's show, just FYI. Even the quickie promo gave me a thrill just to hear his name mentioned on fairly mainstream television :). Our man's doing great... onward and upward.

(quick tangent: someone posted the other day about certain corporate giants being responsible for Adam's music not being played... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I don't want to turn this thread negative, it is such a great little piece of news, but I just want to say that in regard to the radio play issue, and I do think the "owners" issue is absolutely at play, I think that we should all remember that the actual in the trenches radio personnell always seem to really like Adam, and his voice, music, tracks etc. Generally speaking, it seems that although Adam's various radio promo jaunts didn't propel radio play, they often seemed to result in positive comments, tweets, etc. from the DJ's and even PD/MD's... just a good little "glass half FULL" thought I wanted to throw out there... as for the radio-PTB, well, we just keep plugging along and teaching those around us in our own small corenrs of the world a different way of looking at the world. ;)

I am going to go way out on a limb here, and say perhaps the drummer thing is possibly from a source where there is some repetitive behavior needs that need to be met?? Maybe I'm being silly or far reaaching, but let's just ere on the side of kindness and simply leave it alone and not respond at all.

If that true about radio Adam should definitely take his new album that will be wonderful, and move to Europe or Adia! He needs to cater to Asua and Europe and all those who play and buy his music so well! He could tour quite frequent and put out albums once a year or year and halt more frequent. ad much as I love him I will not have him abused like that! When he twice ad good ad what out there. to me Kelley Clarkson got a great voice but she so boring I cannot stay awake to hear it, at live performance. Seen one her performances seen them all like pit bull and many others. ad got great imagination! Always different and terrific! I say take your new album go to Adia and Europe, abroad where it will sale like hot cakes in Asia, Philaphine's, Hungary, Russia! I do not listen to radio right now it's terrible. They did play better than I know myself awhile here! What I do not understand is WWFM, still gets pretty much radio play and some in Houston think still gets quite few spins a week in US. And know its playedot abroad but most places play all his songs abroad, think few like NZ still play more old ones! He does not need abuse, I say bring legal action against this guy and then move where appreciated, because in Asia and places they play the hell out of him! All I know is it looks like some tv executives ate really warming to him!

1.33 looks like a lot of tv excecutives are warming to him, and realizing his talent think next year he will get more tv while working on album. Of corse he will be gone a good while doing concerts for people who appreciate him! Lucky them!! Correction is tv excec's are really warming up to Adam!! About damn time!!

All these accolades are so great! Adam's Great Radio Station Promotional Tour may not have resulted in huge sales, but it DID result in good connections, positive relationships, and a real first-hand taste of Adam for these radio people. They LIKE and RESPECT him. The radio play is so political, as Adam says. Maybe, next time around with Album 3, there will be more open hearts and minds. Adam has done some high-profile stuff since TP came out. He has a growing resume. His next promotion "tour" should bring better results.

The fact is that the prime market for music success is still the USA. I LOVE Adam's overseas fan support and it's helping him tremendously, but no way do I want him to move away. Success in the U.S. is what makes other countries sit up and take notice. Adam's #1 album in the U.S. is what other countries mention, not the actual sales numbers. A good rep here means a good rep everywhere else. I don't think Adam will move. JMO>

They ate also noticing things like Diva, US starting get respect for him this way, but it still makes me mad! Certainly the television media, is starting to realize this talent and believe heard him say he was negotiating more television! Adam overseas popularity is certainly one reason for his overall popularity! Japan his I think is second biggest music industry which he well respected and big in! I still say, I love the respect and way his music is played yes some stolen that's every where but worse I guess on china, do not know! But overall they sure play hispanic in Asia many other places abroad! I do not want him to move but Adam is a very high caliber artist and deserves great sucess and respect! However I do think America coming around at least some what in tv. He did the best hosting job seen anyone do in a long time, plus doing great job performing through it, a very hard job he did it beautifully, loved him on Diva's! Sue

There are still a lot of TV shows where ADAM can fit right in: Glee, Smash and SNL.
Hope to see him in these shows soon.

All these positive write ups about the album, high ranking numbers from various publications and yet...no radio play for any of the songs in Trespassing. Everyone who meets Adam and works with him has nothing but the highest compliments and praise. He is one of the hardest working performers in the music business right now esp. withhis concerts in Asia coming up soon. Hopefully a third album sometime later this year will be the one that will propel him to superstardom here at home.

Ryan Murphy is the creator of Glee and he has declared ADAM as a great singer and same with the other writers and production people of the show.
Smash is produced by Spielberg who also has great things to say about him after he was invited to sing the NA where Spielberg was a guest speaker and said his children loves ADAM.
And Smash stars Angelica Huston whose sister Allegra wrote the article "What Is It About ADAM?" which garnered thousands and thousands of posts then at Wowow website.
And the lead in Smash is his good friend and colleague from Wicked.
Well. . . perhaps waiting for the right time.
