Adam Lambert Album: His Third And Upcoming May Be Released Before The Year Ends! News, Updates and Teasers Right Here!
Adam Lambert album, his third and upcoming one, has been in
discussion for a while now. The last time we ever heard Lambert talk
about it was way back in August when he spoke to the people from GLAAD
and told them that we should expect something different compared to his
first few albums. Lambert is looking into going into a new direction.
During that interview, Lambert also expressed that he has placed a lot
of time and effort in the studio. He seems very excited about the third
album and he's eager to show everyone the results of the tracks his new
producers have helped him with. He even said that his fans are in for a
treat! How exciting!
Before that, around June this year, Lambert also spoke with
people from Rolling Stones and told them that the album isn't finished
yet and that he didn't want to rush his new project. Well, now that he's
back from his tour with Queen, he's finally home and is ready to go
back to work to finish his album. He even tweeted that he's thrilled to
be back home and to complete his upcoming third solo album. That means
that he may be able to release it very soon! Watch out, Glamberts!

It's taking a lot of effort for me to be patient and wait for Adam's announcement of the release of album #3. I'd better throw myself back into real life (that part got a bit suspended with the summer tour and endless videos/reviews). Maybe with the distractions of the upcoming holidays/celebrations, 2015 will be here and we'll get some concrete news.
OT: Apart from Queen, I was able to see both Rod Steward and Elton John live recently, in the sunset years of their illustrious careers. Such legends with their ageless/timeless music. It dawned on me that that is my wish for Adam - to achieve that level of success (IMHO he's every bit as talented), have an amazing long career and still be relevant 30-40 years later; and still be able to entertain and bring joy to the masses through his music.
@Sophie Michelle, good point about longevity. It puts a healthy perspective on our anxiousness regarding the next album.
About this latest article. I am starting to actually ignore those from now on, unless Adam gives us new information, as it's just re-written old news. I will wait for Adam to make an announcement when he's ready and remind myself that he has earned the right to not rush through the process too much. After all, he has given a lot of himself this past summer. I don't expect anything to happen this year based on his publicist Shoshanna's latest tweets and I expect a single no earlier than beginning of next year.
Gabi, I agree with everything you said concerning new album . Hate to see him pressured, art shouldn't be rushed. He should be able to enjoy making this next album. I have faith in him and will wait patiently for the album.
I'm looking for an early 2015 release, too. Hope it's not all pushed back to late spring. Timing is so important for the release of a single and an album. I have high hopes for A3. I hope his new label is very aggressive in promoting A3 and that his management really helps get him out in the media. He deserves it.
Sophie, I have the exact same thoughts as you regarding longevity in the music business. The real legends leave a lasting mark on the music industry and are forever respected. Elton John, Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney, etc. They can perform whenever and wherever they choose. They have earned it. Their canon of work is forever set in music history.
I want that for Adam, too. To put in another way, it is a badge of honor to have your music played on the oldies stations for decades (or forever) long after the songs were first hits. It means you have left an indelible mark. I want Adam's voice to be heard forever. And if he can perform for many years throughout his life, as Elton, Rod and others are doing, so much the better. Adam is one-in-a-billion.
