... And in the "What do You Think Of The New Man?" moment..... The prodigious cheering, clapping, and show of welcome & appreciation from this Nottingham crowd went on and on....

I loved it. Felt so good!

Thank you, glitzylady, for posting this specific moment along with all the other videos. You're doing such a great job. :)

As for the finale....

I am continuously proud and awe-struck by not only how magnificently Adam is performing in the lower registers of his voice in these two encore songs (and certainly AOBTD for that matter!) but, also how he continues to get astoundingly better & better at the mastery of them.

It's so fun to see his further development (even more, if that's possible!) as a singer... and it shows itself MIGHTILY.

Being that (as we already have known) Adam is a natural strong counter tenor.... his upper chest voice is particularly (and extraordinarily) bright.....
I can understand why he has articulated in interviews just how he has persevered in consistently excelling in the lower registers on some of the most challenging of Queen's music - making & sustaining the full on chest-voice power that contributes to the spine-tingling thrill of these two songs and, that is respectfully reminiscent of his iconic frontman predecessor's - naturally gifted with a rich, intense medium/low chest voice - famous delivery on these songs; which have impacted music history and forever embedded themselves within our lives as cultural phenomenons.

I have wondered at times if some of the impressive accolades that Brian & Roger have expressed publicly about Adam's delivery of their catalog in original key might very well include with them the understanding that Adam has to continuously challenge himself in the LOWER registers of his voice - excel outside of his most natural vocal comfort zones - not just the higher chest voice; which is/has been his hallmark standard. The fact that Adam has said that it is a continued honor to do so...and sing these dongs speaks of his humility and exceptional attitude as a person & singer.

Goodness... he must truly be a JOY to work with! :))

Adam's on-going resilience in executing them with strength and dramatic force over & over & again.... his long-standing commitment to excellence & his own high-standards... his considerable adaptability to executing these songs with HIS own individual flair.... and his overall vocal & physical endurance... simply astounds me each time. (This man has some serious diaphragm monster muscles! :))

Yes I have noticed that he is singing in a lower range than he used to, I guess the songs call for it. He has said many times it has been a challenge.
This tour is the first time I have heard that he is touring with a physical trainer, He probably needs him to keep him doing stuff on a daily basis. It is so easy to let exercise slip by.
It is also the first time in the last 2 nights, that he has said he is not in love, and he cannot date because he is on tour.

Thanks for the link to Somebody To Love..

When I was posting vids earlier today, this one hadn't been uploaded yet.. It was frustrating because it's one of my favorites, and none of the videographers I had found to that point had it on their You Tube channels yet.. I was away from home (and my computer) for part of the day and it was nice to come back to the blog to find this.. I'll add it right away..

Glitzylady,

This just to say thank you to you for all that you do, for all your effort, for the love of Adam and for those who love him.
I don't really leave anymore comment here but never miss to come here and appreciate all you do and the rest of you here at 24/7.
From my heart, a very grateful Glambert.

The set is almost full (separate vids, I mean). Great work, @glitzylady, thank you so much!

Found a couple of CLTCL vids, wish they were clearer, sound is pretty good though. Would love to have a better view of the interaction between Adam, Brian and Spike and Adam & Brian towards the end of this song, they were having such fun!

Also a couple of SCC's were there, both missing the 'must see end thrust'... !!!!!!!

Maybe some more better quality vids will turn up later of these songs, too. Nottingham gig was so highly praised!
