LOL because it freaks us out that our brains interpret it differently.

@8:39 PM

I just love the way Adam is interested in everything; he has beautiful fashion sense in my opinion. Love the way he dresses.

Just for your information; my dear friend is a Japanese women and is a fashion plate from head to toe!! By the way, stereotyping people is idiotic and ignorant; and your statement sounds a bit racist in my opinion, whether you meant it that way or not!

Maybe you should take the advice that you are trying to give Adam, and "SHUT UP" yourself.

@8:39 PM

In my opinion; Adam has very good fashion sense and rocks his looks like a fashion model.

Your statement regarding Japanese women sounds very ignorant. You should not stereotype people. I have seen some very fashionable Japanese women! Just a thought, maybe you should get out more!

By the way, the advice you gave Adam, to "shut up" about fashion; might be wise if you did the same! Just saying!!

I agree, Adam. What's the big thing with this color thing??? People with nothing to do creating nonsense.

Could someone clarify (for someone not in the loop) in plain English what this is about, what is Adam referring to? Thank you.

I agree with Adam and at 4:18 am, and 4:23 am. Could not believe this stupid stuff was on the so called news shows. Not even a slow news day. and so much hanging in the balance that really effect our lives; so much more important things going on.

Can we ever get real things that matter getting this much attention?????????????

Sorry, but; 8:39pm sounds like an idiot!

Could someone please explain what is the original "issue" here in plain English, thank you. What is Adam referring to with his tweet? There is no link, nothing except that one pic?

This article will explain what "The Dress" was all about..

"The White and Gold (No, Blue and Black!) Dress That Melted the Internet"

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/28/business/a-simple-question-about-a-dress-and-the-world-weighs-in.html?_r=0

The Intro to the long article:

"The mother of the bride wore white and gold. Or was it blue and black?

From a photograph of the dress the bride posted online, there was broad disagreement. A few days after the wedding last weekend on the Scottish island of Colonsay, a member of the wedding band was so frustrated by the lack of consensus that she posted a picture of the dress on Tumblr, and asked her followers for feedback.

“I was just looking for an answer because it was messing with my head,” said Caitlin McNeill, a 21-year-old singer and guitarist.

Within a half-hour, her post attracted some 500 likes and shares. The photo soon migrated to Buzzfeed and Facebook and Twitter, setting off a social media conflagration that few were able to resist."

1:32 PM, because of the lighting on the dress in the photo your brain interprets the color as either white and gold or blue and black. It is black and blue but most people "see" it as white and gold. The brain is an amazing thing! This striking difference that people see made it travel quickly on social media as they asked "what color do you see?"

I agree that it must have been a slow news day for this picture and the color issue to have been discussed on every news and entertainment show. It is ridiculous. I think those of us who have been bombarded with snow, sleet and ice for the past several weeks have cabin fever and a lack of vitamin D that is making us a little bit crazy over a dress color picture. People should be as concerned and involved in more important issues facing society and the world today, but I suppose we do need a break every now and then to just let loose.

@glitzylady, thank you for your kind post and link. Just wanted to know the origin or the story behind Adam's tweet. Obviously don't hang in social media much... ;)

You're welcome :))

@Anon 4:34 PM

You're right, sometimes people just need a little mindless silly fun.. I don't think anyone took a whole lot of time on it really...

By the way, I saw it as light blue and bronze..

:))))))))))))))
