What a beautiful way to say it, Adam, "a glittering boost" to QUEEN. And that was exactly what Adam was for me in the year 2008 when I lost the love of my life, my incredible beloved husband. I had already seen Adam on American Idol, but somehow, in my grief, Adam stepped into my life and truly made me want to "listen to music again". How strange that someone like me would fall in love with the persona of a young pop/rock singer like Adam. I lived in the fashion world, then the academic and medical world of my husband, had loved Elvis somewhat as a child, but Adam satiated my soul at its lowest point upon the death of my Martin. And, now, here I am seven years later still in love with him. BTW, only a few days until I go to his show in Phoenix, December 3RD..........Happy Thanksgiving to all of you Glamberts. Margarita Lady

I have followed ADAM right from his audition on AI back in 2009 & I haven't stopped singing his praises since then. What a wonderful addition ADAM has been to my life through his music & his Glorious Voice!! Even today I'm awe-stricken when I hear him sing ... no one can compare!! I agree with Brian & Roger ... he is 'one in a billion' & truly a GFG!! What a wonderful choice they have made touring with this fabulously talented young man!! ROCK ON!! QUEEN+Adam Lambert!! GOD Bless & Happy Thanksgiving to you & all Glamberts everywhere!!

Margarita Lady... So touched by your very sad but brave recount of the passing of your beloved husband, and finding that much needed solace in Adam.
As for me...it was totally Adam taking control over my brain ! when he marched right in with no warning ! And before I even knew what happened...Crash ! Bang ! the rug was pulled from under my feet and I sprawled flat. I had no choice but to keep steering my brain in that direction or I could go mad. lol! That's when a whole mountain of poems and stories came crashing down like an avalanche. lwl!

@LAM-MY, I have to say that you are the "ultimate" Glambert. I have really enjoyed your poems and stories through the years, and I truly hope that you have made a book of them. Adam would be so proud of all of us Glamberts, but alas, we will just be virtual to him. Even though we are virtual to him, he loves and appreciates us. Actually, I have sent messages to Adam in a very unusual way about how much I love him and how I have written poetry about his music and gorgeous looks. When I was visiting my son and his wife in Florida two years ago, his wife asked me to go out to lunch with her and one of her best friends. Well, it turned out that my daughter-in-law's good friend was the mother of the young man that Lance Bass was going to marry in Los Angeles in a very big wedding. Lance Bass and his well-known boyfriend (husband now) are very good friends with Adam. Therefore, in a crazy way, I got some messages to Adam. Actually, it has been quite a while since I have written a poem about Adam. I will write one after I go to his concert in Phoenix. Margarita Lady

Margarita Lady... I love reading your writings, very intellectual and broad-based, your Adam poems. Your real experiences living in foreign countries and learning about their cultures/beliefs first-hand are very interesting reads. Wow, I didn't know your late husband was a doctor...I admire doctors a lot; they give themselves unconditionally to save lives; at times risking their own; like your dear husband did.

I wrote this poem about Adam after one of his concerts two years ago, but, it still holds true.

ADAM'S ROCK GOD SUPINE GLORY BY MARGARITA LADY

Supine on the floor
His body did lie,
Wild crowd just shook
Screamed ethereal cry!

Lead guitar in his face
His tongue lapped the strings,
Sex rolled off his lips
Crowd roared as he sings!

Belly thrusts he delivered
As we frothed while he moaned,
Good golly Miss Molly
Rock god must be throned!

The stage lights then dimmed
On his elbow he rose,
He was poetry in motion
His body was prose!

He smiled at us all
To our insane delight,
Then waved his gloved hand
Threw a kiss, yelled, "Goodnight!"

Wild applause rose to heaven
Crowd must exit the door,
With delusions of grandeur
Adam supine on the floor!

Margarita Lady... Very beautiful poem, from your heart. Yes I remember this one; I commented on the word, supine, which I looked up, new word for me.

Ladies, beautiful, blessed be the one who can inspire such heartfelt posts!
May I join your Adam Lambert Memories Club?
My story of how I fell for Adam belongs to the earth, the earth which makes us strong on our feet, pragmatic, yours belong to the skies.I've never been into pop, singing competitions, you know , they are all smoke and mirrors, but a strange twist of fate made me listen , to a friend recommendation, to the new guy in town, a singer that could play Whole Lotta Love! Live! My confidence, zero, it is a joke, it wasn't, the guy could sing it, without embarrassing Robert Plant, far from it, his version was fresh, powerful and highlighted all the musical difficulties of the song. And I stayed. And other gems followed :Sleepwalker, Soaked, Music Again, For Your Entertainment. And I was hooked.Queen and Adam Lambert project gave me wings to fly, o, god, my old , beloved Queen songs , sung by him in a new, different , exciting interpretation? Adam on the same stage with my lifelong idols, Brian and Roger, it was a dream, which happily came true. And I was ecstatic.I didn't have any reticence, why should I have had, some of Freddie's songs, forgotten, loved only by hardcore fans, were waiting to come to life again. And there came the man.My "arrogance" reached " the stratosphere, their musical liaison made me feel elated,my commitment became stronger. Reticence? both Brian and Roger, musically speaking are like the trees, never cut down, their riffs/solos/rolls are still groovy, Adam and his great voice reinvigorated those difficult harmonies, nuances, pitches . AND THE STORY GOES ON!
As for his own career , The Original High Album and Tour, on another occasion.

@PAN, @LAM-MY, @LAMBERT OUTLAW-Thank you for sharing your stories. I just love to hear from different Glamberts the situations which brought them to Adam. We certainly found a common niche in our lives, one which brings us so much personal joy. And, @PAN, I also share your great love of Brian and Roger and their incomparable music. Margarita Lady

Hi Pan!
So you are an Adam convert, a devout Queen fan. Well, I'm definitely an Adam baptism-by-fire fan. lol! It was through Adam that I came to like Queen a lot! Adam gave Queen a new lease of life and all these European concerts are the result of the QAL exposure. It's a symbiotic relationship, both sides benefit; true meaning of cooperation based on expertise and love from both sides.

You're welcome Margarita Lady!

My Trespassing Night 2013

An experiential night of Adam in the flesh, belting hit songs from Trespassing and For Your Entertainment
Expelling his first wail from atop the staircase on stage, he stylishly descends, opening with...If I Had You...
My first live Adam wail...so that's what it sounds like...glorious yet I had wanted to feel more his voice embedded in my subconscious
Fever, a hot, thumping favourite...dancers and sexy Adam tantalise with sensual rivets
Outlaws of Love reveals his vulnerability and solemnity
Strangely, WWFM touched me the most because the loud banging subsided...stripped, to allow his voice to take flight
An audio-visual interplay; the stage decor stripes, spotlights, entwined with the ear-shattering band and sweeping laser-lights
Adam commands the stage, a sifu a sage... strutting up and down; his rock-solid voice emancipates
SingBerts demonstrate their love ostentatiously wearing their self-designed T-shirts with the logo Trespassing
My daughter who plays piano, appreciates Adam's professionalism...very good performer...she said
Thank you Adam for the Trespassing concert of glamour and family; my most memorable birthday actually
Till we meet again...rock and roll, on with the show...may your dream fill the morrow
The Singapore concert, fashion-bits, even as a marriage go-between on air...you delivered
Disembark on our shores again; we'll welcome you back with open arms when your third album streaks across our sunny blue skies, immaculate
