4. Gaga bring back You and I. And Adam Lambert.

Yes, the song is from 2011, and she already had a memorable cross-dressing MTV Video Music Awards performance of the hit, where she brought out Queen's Brian May. But this time, she should bring out the other surviving members of Queen, plus Adam Lambert. Sure, she's already joined Lambert onstage, but that was in Sydney, and they love each other.

Best thing about the article is that Adam/Queen is the only other artist mentioned to appear with her. And Adam is singled out as having performed with her and that she loves him. I'll bet lots of USA Today readers don't know their background together. I'd love to see Gaga and QAL perform together.

I agree, it would be great if they, QAL and Gaga, could do a couple of songs together. It would be a great opportunity to showcase Adam. The USA needs to wake up and know how talented he is. Can you just imagine him singing in that big stadium filled to the brim and have all those TV viewers watching. One can only hope.

When Gaga sang with Queen and Adam , she was awful. Manic and screaming. She is capable was singing beautifully, but didn't do it during that performance. Gaga does need some help and of course Adam would be great.

Sounds great, but she probably has no say in the matter. Also she might be a little worried that Adam sings better than her, and she knows it, LOL.

Hate to be a downer here, but SB is a tricky and complex business. While this is not even on the table, I have my doubts about whether Gaga or her advisors would risk being overshadowed by QAL - especially with expectations that they do WWRY and WATC. And we all know that QAL would knock it out of the park at a SB. Gaga is on a bit of a comeback trail and needs to showcase herself. I don't follow Gaga but heard that her last solo tour a few years back was not successful. She got lukewarm reviews for her Bowie tribute. She has had a lot of other opportunities but needs a big hit and tour at this point in her career, and the SB would be a springboard. On the other hand, Coldplay was surely overshadowed by BeyoncΓ© and Bruno Mars last year. So, I dunno.......

Actually I don't think it will happen anyway, but if QAL did perform at the SB, they would definitely kick ass, even with GAGA.

Plan B - I would be thrilled if Adam was asked to sing the National Anthem.

Scary thought--- what if GaGa decided she wants to sing WWRY and WRTC with Queen.... but without Adam Lambert? Question...would Queen do it?

Where did anyone get the idea that Adam and Gaga were good friends? I actually saw no signs of that when she did that guest drop-in on QAL shown in the video above. In fact she seemed to almost deliberately go in separate directions from Adam, instead of logically following his choreography for the song. She did not cooperate with him or show any real friendship....only to Brian.

Of course, that drop-in was probably only slightly or completely unrehearsed-- but it really was messy.... and off-key a lot.

First off, I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE that this article mentioned Adam Lambert and Queen. Very cool.

Secondly, I DO understand that this is wishful thinking at this point.. I also get that headlining at the Super Bowl is a highly sought after gig that is obviously going to be offered to the hottest people in music at this moment in time.. It is also clear that it's become a promo opportunity to whomever has new music out, and is hoping the masses will buy it, stream it, etc. after their appearance. And is considered to be a major commercial for whatever band or artist performs at the Super Bowl. Their singles and albums get a very large spike in sales after the broadcast.. The performers are not paid to perform because frankly, it's payment enough for the national and worldwide exposure, with over 100 million viewers tuning in to see the football game, and for people like me (not a Football fan all that much, although a proud Seattle Seahawks fan :)), to see the new ads and always the half-time show. The Super Bowl pays for all of the production costs etc.. travel costs, expenses i.e. accommodations, for the performers and their musicians, their tech people, relatives, entourages....which can add up to millions of dollars (reportedly up to as much as $10 million). So free promo at very little to no cost to the artists themselves.. It was reported that they asked Katy Perry to pay some costs but she did not.

Although Adam & Lady Gaga are probably not close friends, they do go back aways. She wrote his song "Fever" from his first album "For Your Entertainment" and was present in the studio when he recorded the song back in 2009. Adam has much respect for her and it would seem she most likely has the same for him. And yes, she is friends with Brian May and has worked with him. I also like her very much and although her last album wasn't the huge hit that her previous ones were, sadly, she is an extremely talented woman IMHO, not only as a singer but as an actress, and has crossed genres, has performed and recorded with Tony Bennett. Her early history is similar to Adam's in that she was a theater kid. Her Thanksgiving special in November 2011 showed another one of her many sides.. I think she surprised a whole lot of viewers with her versatility as a singer and performer. Her National Anthem performance at this years Super Bowl was excellent..

By the way, the reference in the article re bringing back the song "You and I", from her album "Born This Way" (2011), which featured Brian May. So yes, she has ties to Adam and to Queen.

As for Lady Gaga singing at the QAL Sydney concert, it was kind of awesome really. And it's unfortunate that the vids that came out of it were generally not the best audio quality.. Those who were there were impressed and indeed stunned that she made that appearance.. I would imagine that she and Adam and Brian May had a great deal of fun with that performance..

While I would LOVE to have Queen PLUS Adam Lambert on the Super Bowl, I would of course prefer that they be the headliners, in the best of all possible worlds (mine anyway!!) but IF it happens that they appear with Lady Gaga (and this is ALL wishful thinking and speculation right now, and pretty unlikely really, but we can dream..), I would be pretty devastated if Adam was NOT fronting them.. I was at the iHeart Radio concert in Las Vegas when they did their first US show, and while I do really like Nate Reuss of Fun (they were performing too, I like their music), I was a little worried when they brought Nate on stage to perform with Queen. Luckily it was only 2 songs, one a duet with Adam, but I wanted Adam to have the full glory.. And he certainly did, in reality.. He was glorious. The very cool thing we learned later was that Adam himself knew Nate is a huge Queen fan and Adam graciously offered him the opportunity to sing with Queen. That's just the kind of guy Adam is. Generous, humble and a true gentleman.

So yeah, I would LOVE to see Queen + Adam Lambert at the Super Bowl next Feb. but not holding my breath and hoping against hope that maybe the following year, 2018, we and the world will experience the music of Queen live, with Adam showing the world once again why Brian May & Roger Taylor were so impressed with him from the very get go, when he was on Idol..

Fingers crossed..............

(Sorry, I had to continue from above.. sorry about the long post!)
