That needs to be on the front page of every newspaper that endorsed Hillary.

Been listening to some rather wise radio hosts this morning who are encouraging us to quit the bitching and moaning and just face the fact that we will do much better if we try to work together and accomplish some important goals. Constant fighting gets us no where. Trump is in uncharted waters now. He knows virtually nothing about the Presidency. He'll need all the help he can get to gain international respect and maybe get something positive done in the US. Hating him won't fix anything.

Just heard President Obama give his speech. Pure class.

I think allowing yourself some (fill in your own word _______) time before forgiving and moving on it just fine. I'm currently in mourning. I know it won't last, but for now it is helpful in working my way thru it and getting past it. I really don't know how to hate, there are many other words for how I feel but that is not one of them. Expressing my feelings is absolutely necessary. If anyone doesn't want to 'hear' me, just scroll on by when you see my name.

Hillary's speech was moving and inspiring. As always.

That explains a few republican presidents.

Well spoken, lollypop.....we need mourning and adjusting time... and yes, bitching, too.

Then, we have no choice but to make the best of things and hope that Trump will learn to be a "Statesman" before he gets us so fouled up that there is no return. As Americans, we have to accept a "peaceful transitional of power". I hope our Democracy can survive this one!

Half the country voted for "change".... well, they (and we) are gonna GET IT....very likely NOT what they had in mind.

Trump is a populist. He will follow the masses. He's a follower, not a leader...
If the masses don't stand with him, he's got no place to go. He's "just" one person.

I think the warmongering, oilpumping elites are the most devastated about this outcome.

I think this was more a vote for "change" than for hate and bigotry.
I've already made a longer statement under the other post.

GLAMBERTS - FYI, I checked out on Snopes.com the above posted photo of Trump/w his quote from People magazine in 1998.

Sorry, it's DEFINITELY BOGUS, evidently manufactured by a Trump hater -- even though it sounds like something Trump would say..and probably did.

Stupid me, I made the mistake of forwarding it to family members before checking it out, and then had to email a retraction to them!

How comforting to see on the news that Putin telegraphed "congratulations" to Trump.

The people voted for him to be the next president, so stop complaining. People complain about every president voted in, so get over it. I never wanted Obama, and look what a mess we are in now, and he got an additional term, go figure. So either run like chickens to another country, or stay and except what is. If you don't like it here, get out, I don't think you will find another country, with freedom like ours anywhere.

Obviously you're a Trump supporter, Anne Marie but not everyone voted for him .... and there's no need to be nasty about other people's choices & concerns.

The US isn't the only democratic country in the world with freedom.

Anne Marie, why do you always have to be so mean? Uncalled for and hypocritical.

Adam has deleted his Instagram post..

My comment was in response to the hate comments, on here and on twitter. People saying if Trump got in they would leave the country. Also someone said for Adam to stay out of the country. What's done is done, and we have to live with it, like it or not, the answer is not to run to another country. I am aware that not everyone voted for Trump, but enough did to get him the presidency. That should say enough. Everyone had a reason for their vote, doesn't make them right or wrong, but now I hope we can live in peace and no more bickering.

People are entitled to their opinion whether it agrees with other's opinions or not.

The only nastiness has come from you, Anne Marie.

Adam must have deleted his Instagram post because it turned out to be bogus... As I noted above...checked Snopes.com.

I don't mean to say that he did it because of what I said. I'm sure he found out some other way.

It gives me some small consolation to know that Hillary won the popular vote.

It gives great me great consolation that Hillary won the most votes. It's a crime that Comey got away with what he did.

Unknown said...

How is a country where the candidate with the least votes wins a democracy? What did Comey do?

Nanbert said...

Would you believe ALL the popular votes are still not in? 14 States are within fractions of finishing, but still counting.

As of 8:50 PM,EST (on Cnn.com) ll/ll/2016, the popular vote stands as follows:

Hillary Clinton --- 60,660,647 ---47.8%
Donald Trump ------ 60,157,578 ---47.4%

Only a difference of 503,069 at this time. Close!
