Isaiah Firebrace just took the X Factor crown down under.
The 17-year-old soul singer was eliminated during last year’s run but his triumphant return proved successful.
Mentored by Lambert, the winner just scored a record deal with Sony with his first single set for release tonight (November 21).

Following his win the artist said: “I cannot describe how I feel right now – oh my God, thank you all so much.
“My heart is beating so fast. I just want to thank everyone who supported me on this journey.”
But it’s his mentor’s rise to superstardom that is causing a stir, as there seems to be speculation that Adam is set for a big future within the X Factor global family.

Cat see this actually happening as it would make such good sense. Still Adam has been an excellent judge mentor! And it would give XFUK what it needs some actual rock glamor.

Other people are beginning to see what we Glamberts have known since Day One. Adam is 100% vocal talent and 100% amazing personality. There is no 50/50 about it. He is 100% is ALL categories. If this new alliance with XF UK comes about, it will strengthen his fanbase in the UK and keep him in the public eye. Hope it happens. He just charmed the socks off everyone in OZ. He was a major factor in Isaiah's winning, IMO. The audience adored Adam.

Glad to hear Adam say that he's going home to relax and recharge, and then start working on new music. Can't wait!!!!! And on top of all that, we have QAL to look forward to as well. Praying that Dr. Bri is getting healthy and ready to perform again.

Here is a quote from Isaiah that made me laugh. LOL!!!
" You know, it’s so weird, I’m always crying on national television! I never cry in front of people off camera, but I’m always crying on national TV!"

It came from this article, I hope it works for you all.

It would be interesting to see Simon & Adam on the same judging panel!

Robbie Williams' comment - cheeky devil!!

Thanks for the link to that article, lollymop.

So happy for Isaiah that he won. He's a fine young man with a lovely voice.
