On July 28, pop sensation #Adam Lambert performed with classic rock band Queen at the #Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, where they played for a sold-out venue. Lambert performed alongside original Queen band members -- lead guitarist Brian May and drummer #Roger Taylor. It is safe to say that both living rock legends (May and Taylor) are like fine wine, where they only get better with age, and Adam Lambert on lead vocals was simply the icing on the cake.
Former judge Paula Abdul once said it best about Adam Lambert during his days on the reality singing competition "American Idol," and that same quote still applies to this day: "It was like watching the Olympics, and you're our Michael Phelps."

Just reading this short excerpt from the article is giving me chills & misting my eyes!! Most of the reviews from this tour are such raving reviews and ADAM & QUEEN deserve every word of praise!! Yes!! Simon also said that ADAM was going to be a worldwide star .. darned if he aint!! So PROUD!!

I was at the Barclays show, and agree that those of us who can see QAL live are very blessed. The entire production is a feast for all of the senses, the lighting and lasers are brilliant and make an otherworldly perfect setting for Adam's vocals and Queen's musicianship. Brian's guitar solo is a completely different experience when seen in person.
I suppose because of the quantity, depth and variety of entertainment here in NYC - performers embrace the challenge of pushing themselves to their limits. QAL are seasoned performers, and when extreme talent meets opportunity - we get a performance at a new level. Artist's cannot plan for it, it is spontaneous and only happens when certain unknown elements fall into place.
Barclays is a wonderful venue and I preferred it over MSG - although I never saw QAL at MSG. It is still new and nicely apportioned. The audience was unbelievable and completely in sync with QAL.
