From Metro Weekly (WA DC): "Queen + Adam Lambert adds up to an electrifying night at the Verizon Center"

LINK: CONCERT REVIEW: QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT AT VERIZON CENTER (Washington DC on July 31, 2017)

Although this is a Queen + Adam Lambert concert review, much of the review is about frontman Adam... A few examples:

"Thankfully, Lambert has the pipes to fill D.C.’s Phone Booth — or any arena — and Queen’s eclectic rock-pop-operatic sound suits his flamboyant style as well as any of the half-dozen rhinestone-studded, leather costumes he donned onstage. Often baring only his tattooed arms, the former American Idol finalist strutted and belted with confidence through classics like “I Want It All” and “Somebody to Love.”

"From his playful spin on “Bicycle Race” (performed on an over-sized, pink, fluffy bike), to a commanding take on “Get Down, Make Love,” Lambert sang flawlessly.."

"The fans cheered almost as loudly for him as they cheered for the video of Freddie Mercury that played overhead."

And the raves just keep on comin'! Other than this guy's puzzling comment about Adam "holding back" a little somehow (?????) for some songs, this review what very positive about Adam. The comments below the review gave a 100% review of Adam's obviously powerful vocal output onstage. Always 100%.

Great show, Adam was amazing as usual. Nice surprise Roger, singing one of his songs, and teared up when Brian sang Love of My Life.
