Hi! I'm not too savvy about these places with new names. Exactly where is Ibiza & what was it's original name ... been living a long time but never ever heard of Ibiza!! Those waters look inviting but that's not my thing .. just like to watch others enjoying themselves .. I get mal de mer in the tub .. LOL!!
Ibiza is a Mediterranean island off the east coast of Spain. It is one of the Balearic Islands, an autonomous community of Spain. It has a colorful history, beginning with Phoenician settlers in 654BC. It's well-known as a party island.
In my college days I spent a summer in Alicante, Spain and we took a side trip to Ibiza. It was an overnight boat trip away. Lovely place full of Expats and British tourists, and has turned into quite the party island. I don't speak Spanish, at all, but had no trouble as everyone speaks English. Lots of yachts in the harbor and $$$$.
Yes, Allysa... can't help but notice those docked yachts in Adam's snapchats!!! Really big, big, BIG bucks parked there! Probably all of them are open-sea vessels, i.e. capable of handling any sea/ocean, so they can travel anywhere. In a sense, their owners make up a kind of community of their own... living aboard and traveling the world. They keep encountering each other at different dockings...sometimes planned, sometimes coincidently... and they just pick up their friendships from the last port they encountered each other at.
One advantage of that lifestyle (among many others) is that if you don't like your neighbor, you can just pull up anchor and move!
Wonder where Roger's "home" dock is...U.K.?..U.S.? Spain? Obviously he doesn't live aboard permanently.
Hello Glamberts¡¡¡ YES, Adam is in Spain¡¡ Amigas, para mi ha sido un placer ver como Adam disfrutaba tanto en mi país¡¡ Esta guapísimo, le ha sentado muy bien el sol de Ibiza, además de que lo he tenido TAN CERCA¡¡ Espero que ahora que nos conoce, venga a España con su próximo tour¡¡ Yo vivo en Murcia, costa Mediterranea, pero iría donde fura por verlo otra vez¡¡ KISSES FOR ALL FROM SPAIN
Hey, FYI, just noticed... in Spain's comment above...the exclamation point is upsidedown in Spanish! Well, at least it's upsidedown for English writing.... I guess ours looks upsidedown for Spanish writing.
