This was an outstanding concert among a whole tour of outstanding concerts. I couldn't believe the audience involvement in this one. Really singing LOUD and loving each moment. That TSMGO took my breath away, literally. Adam's voice is stellar beyond imagination.

I posted on an earlier thread that probably didn't get seen, so I will say it again with a little more, here. I know Adam has gained fans due to QAL. I hope the Vegas shows bring him some valuable, much-needed US recognition that carries over into the A4 era. We don't know which QAL performance will be the last one. Adam will be 100% solo once again. I hope his film and TV jobs turn out to be successful and lead to more. A voice and personality like his deserve to be enjoyed in any form it takes. He's got a lot to give that hasn't been tapped yet.

We all hope A4 does well, but sometimes I wonder if Top 40 pop will ultimately be Adam's true niche. I think he wants it to be, but his voice is capable of so much more. I don't want him pigeon-holed. I keep thinking of someone like Josh Groban (who is NOT chasing the Top 40 charts) but whose talent and personality are wonderful and he gets his share of acting gigs, TV things, etc. And he doesn't sing original music, as far as I know. He's a master at covers. I don't want Adam to turn into Josh Groban. They are entirely different in a million ways. But I do hope that Adam gets a shot at some of the same things. As much as I enjoy Adam's own original music, I wouldn't mind a bit if he had the chance to also perform great songs written by others. Jazz, blues, Broadway stuff, classic rock, and much more. His sexuality doesn't have to be part of it all the time. A broad audience would love him simply for the voice and the personality.

We don't have a crystal ball, but all I know is that he deserves longevity in show business, no matter what forms that may take. Top 40 doesn't have to be the perpetual Holy Grail.
