Me too, Mirela. I think you sent that link on an earlier thread, and I mentioned that it looked like it might be something from Brian and Roger....a birthday present, perhaps?...since Brian and Roger are hovering over Adam while he unwraps it. It looked like he was opening a framed item (as seen from the back). Would love to know what it is!

Adam has the best friends in the world! First he was in Italy and the next minute was in London to celebrate his birthday, he has a wonderful life! I was wondering if he'll celebrate with his family? Now this adds one more spot-on prediction to my Beacon Light poem...'Adam, the operatic pop rock King!' last line ~ 2011.
I wonder if this last line prompted Adam to do opera and rock side by side at the same concert event.
I've never heard Adam sing Opera till now; then why do I say 'operatic' in my poem. I hear it! even when he's not singing Opera. Above video, Whole Lotta Love, I hear modern Operatic haw haw! And why do I feel that...his voice projection so powerful and travels so far to the last row...that Opera singers have to deliver. Actually this occurred when I heard him sing Soaked to the bone...Sink like a stone...Also, Life On Mars / David Bowie.

Okay, but there is definitely a stark difference between Adam singing Nessun Dorma and Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma. Adam knows that full well. I heard a slight off note towards the end. Great job! Adam.

Unknowingly a few predictions have come to pass within these 10 years:

1st verse: Adam performed at our Singapore Marina Bay Float 2017 NYE corresponds with: 'harbour of delight'. The Float was barely conceived then in 2011.

2nd verse: 'blasted off to 'the moon a big bang boom'...making such an impact right now... definitely unforeseen, quite bemused at accuracy.

5th verse: 'an avalanche of tweet tweet tweet'...avalanche / millions of worldwide fans.

Last verse: Adam, the operatic pop rock King!...Well, Brian May, astrophysicist / guitarist personally lay the Crown on Adam's head and he's doing QAL operatic glam rock.

Finally: Singing Nessun Dorma followed by Whole Lotta Love ... this never dawned on me nor my somewhat psychic haw haw 🧐🤪🗣🐕

A Twist in Operatic...combining Singapore Chinese street opera with 'Heroes just for 1 day' hit song / genius of David Bowie. Well, he combined Opera with Pop. He was on his 'Serious Moonlight' concert tour 70s...

Here is part of the film David Bowie documented capturing the 70s era. He opened the floodgates for Rock bands which started trickling into the Singapore Rock concert scene; not so accessible at that time as Rock bands were frowned upon as being associated with drugs.

Nanbert .. Just an update on me ... I fell on Sunday & scared the HE(double hockey stix) out of me & hubby .. had to call 911 to get me off the floor .. badly sprained foot ... hurts like the devil but I don't think I broke it .. even so I'm really lucky!! Legs are getting unmanageable now .. don't know how much longer I'll be able to walk or even stand but I'll keep trying!! Thank goodness for my computer or I couldn't keep tabs on y'all!! LOL

Lambert Outlaw....Wow!...Scary! SO sorry, but glad (hopefully) you didn't break anything. It must have scared the daylights out of you! Isn't that compression sleeve/machine you were using (or whatever it's called) helping your legs?

If your sprained foot hurts, maybe you should use an elastic wrap bandage on it for a while. But do keep trying to walk as much as possible....and use a sturdy walker. Hang in there! Light 'n Love...

Nanbert ... You're really an angel for going through all that research for me. Here's how it is .. legs have gotten too big for the compression leggings I have .. don't know if my insurance will pay for a second set .. I doubt it!! Therefore the reason why I couldn't pick myself up from the floor & had to call 911 ... you see, as far as my home care nurse can see .. my legs probably weigh about 50 lbs. & because I also have 4 inoperable stomach hernias I can't lift my legs myself!! It seems that after the final surgery on my stomach .. the doctor neglected to sew my stomach walls back together so my skin is holding all my insides in & reconstruction is too late because of my age so I have to use a walker or a cane until the Good Lord sends for me!! I get very depressed at times but having my computer & all my Glam Sisters & GORGEOUS ADAM ... it's not as bad as others my age have it!! I hope I can hang in there for a few more years .. I'm not ready to leave yet ... still working on my ADAM "bucket list"!! LOL

I'm extremely fortunate to have my saintly hubby still with me ... GOD knows no one else would care for me the way he does!! And my doctor (not the jackass that took ?care? of me years ago) comes to the house to check on me every couple months + I have a visiting nurse come to the house 3 days a week so I feel blessed to be able to recognize people & carry on a coherent conversation when they come here!!

Well, sweetie ... that's my life for however long I may last but I've had a very full life .. not all of it good but I think I can say honestly that GOD Loves Me!!

Lambert Outlaw....you have to be an advocate for yourself!....of course they will pay for a second set of compression leggings! You just have to push for them! Listen...if the first set were viable for you, a second set is just as viable...the size just needs to be adjusted. If they became worn out after a period of time, they would have to be replaced, too, wouldn't they?

I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with this...but be an advocate for yourself. And ask your doctor and visiting nurse to help you.

LAMBERT oUtlaw so sorry for all you have gone through. I know something about all of that and what health struggles are. I've had a five way bypass, a hip replacement a bad one and a terrible back of which I just got another procedure and one more then hospital one. I get so depressed and feel hopeless sometimes as well but it seems Gods not ready for either of us yet. I wear the compression hose the black medium ones from Wal Mart but suppose to wear the medical ones. But I can handle these myself and they do help. Mine swell if they are not on for any period of time and even sometimes with them. They go down and up. Have you had heart surgery or are you diabetic that's when they really swell. They take a large amount of veins out for heart surgery makes them swell.
If your on your feet to much they really swell, which I usually am. I know you been told to keep them up.
If they were wrong and did not work they should replace them. I know your struggle because so many veins taken out of my legs during 2 open heart surgeries. They cant operate do to the lack of veins.
Have they ever operated to try and open your leg veins.please they and get those compression hose right side and get them on your husband can help and get them up when up as much as you can.
Dear I know what your going through why I told you all that. I know how depressed it makes you but we just have to do what we can to help it sometimes it works sometimes not. Guess God not ready for us yet.
I think about your struggles all the time and believe me I know what health struggles are. I sure hope you feel better hope were both here for Adam as long as possible. You definitely are a bright light. Sorry that was LAMBERT Outlaw hit wrong key. Also please try and get right size hose and get them on only thing that helps me husband can help this is correction from above. Also that was please try and replace the hose with the correct size and get help to put them on. I'm sure you have tried just about every thing and it is so frustrating when things fell to help going through that myself with different specialists. As far as swelling compression hose only thing helps me.
So hope you feel better dear. You are certainly a faithful Glambert.

Dear Sweet Caring Glam Sisters .. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful you all are!! I'm just a name on a post & yet each of you are as caring as if you each knew me personally!! I love you all & I appreciate all the well wishes & comforting suggestions ... believe me, I will try as hard as I can to fight this!!

Nanbert .. these compression leggings are quite expensive & I'm not sure if the insurance company will pay for a second set but I'll have my doctor look into it for me. The nurse couldn't come today .. the driveway was piled so high with snow that only a plow could take care of it ... no mail .. even the priest couldn't come to bring us our monthly communion on 1st Friday today!! My son-in-law came over after work today & plowed us out GOD Bless him!!

My problem with my legs is that I have lymphedema + I'm a diabetic & my kidneys aren't 100% functioning so the fluid builds up in my legs & feet!! I try not to look at them if I can help it .. I used to have such shapely legs .. now they're grotesque!! I do wear compression stockings when I can but the problem with them is I get a rash & I have to take them off or I'll scratch the skin off of them!! So keep me in your prayers .. I believe in the power of prayer!!

Sue ... I'm so sorry to hear of all your problems dear ... it just makes my own seem not so bad!! I guess we all have our own cross to bear but that only means that we are walking close to JESUS .. that's what I believe anyway!! And I also believe that when I can't make it on my own GOD sends HIS angels to prop me up so I can still be able to walk some!! I try to cook & clean as much as I can but I can't stand too long ... I'm using a walker now so that helps but the sore toes make me cry with every step!! So I take my medication & sit in front of my computer or TV most of the day .. pain pills knock me out so I try to take as few as possible so I don't sleep all the time!! If I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself .. LOL!!

LAMBERT Outlaw have you ever tried Goldbond diabetic skin lotion in a tube to moisturize the legs. Can get at wal mart other inexpensive stores. My husband has type 2 diabetes it helps him. It soaks in well probably would not hamper putting compression hose on.
Your husband could pick it up for you.
I have dry skin I stick a bunch of various cremes in a jar onor I would break out as well. Just a suggestion.
We just need to prop each other up when feeling low maybe neither of us will get so depressed. We never met in person but I still feel I know you a bit do to our health struggles and our love for a sweet guy name Adam.
