Adam Lambert Las Vegas Mini-Residency Rescheduled to October 2020 (UPDATE)

UPDATE (4/3/20):  Ticketmaster finally updated its online schedule to match the recently announced change from April 2020 to October 2020 for Adam's mini-residency at The Venetian in Las Vegas as we had described in the original post below — however, the change is not quite as we had envisioned.

Although ticketholders attending one or more of the final three nights, originally on a Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, will transfer over to the corresponding Wednesday (Oct. 21), Friday (Oct. 23) and Saturday (Oct. 24), the situation for ticketholders for the first two nights isn't as cut and dry.

If you have tickets for Saturday, April 18th, which was to be opening night, it turns out you will still be attending the corresponding Saturday night performance on October 17th, but that will no longer be the opening night.  Tickets for Sunday, April 19th will now instead apply to what is the new opening night, Friday, October 16th.

This change may be perfect for some, not for others.  However, Ticketmaster has, as of this writing, left no explanation as to whether or not you'll be able to freely exchange tickets for the newly assigned dates to one of the other four dates in the series, nor if you wish to simply get a refund.  However, it is likely that Ticketmaster agents will have more details if you call their customer support center.  We'll update further if we get more information.

We had announced to you previously that Adam Lambert's mini-residency at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, originally scheduled for five nights during the period of April 18-25, had been postponed due to the pandemic and new dates would be announced.

A few days ago (sorry, we missed it!), Adam posted on his IG and Twitter that the dates have been rescheduled to October, as follows:

Friday, October 16, 2020
Saturday, October 17, 2020
Wednesday, October 21, 2020
Friday, October 23, 2020
Saturday, October 24, 2020

These new dates were added to Adam's mini-residency page within the Entertainment section of The Venetian website. However, and oddly, Ticketmaster has not announced the change yet on their own website — all evenings are still listed as "postponed."

We would presume that Ticketmaster and Venetian will simply honor current tickets for the original opening night of Saturday, April 18 instead for the new opening night of Friday, October 16th, and the Sunday, April 19 date instead for Saturday, October 17th, and the remaining Wednesday, Friday and Saturday dates to transfer over to the corresponding final three days of the week, as listed above.  But we'll let you know if we discover differently.

The start time of 8:00pm remains the same.

In addition, we would also hope that, when Ticketmaster finally does get around to announcing the dates on its site, it will also provide options for, at the very least, refunds; but hopefully, they will also give ticket buyers the option to switch nights, if desired.  Again, we will update you with further information as we learn it.

For now, here is Adam's page on The Venetian site with the changed dates:

With many thanks to our faithful readers Sunflower and Dee R Gee for alerting us to this!

Hope that most people who have tickets will be able to go on the new dates. Fingers crossed that we will still get a Velvet tour sometime around the end of the year.

I'm glad Broddy you posted the new Velvet Tour dates! I didn't have the dates on hand when I mentioned about the rescheduling the other day!
