Publicist Page Jeter tweets, “VH1′s Behind the Music @adamlambert with Kris Allen interview at @tru_hollywood!” In other words, Kris Allen sat for an interview with VH1 today for an Adam Lambert Behind The Music special. QUESTION: I know you wrote and produced for Adam Lambert with “A Loaded Smile” for his album. He’s one of the first mainstream pop singers to be out at the very start of his career. Do you think pop musicians need to worry about staying closeted the way actors do?

LINDA PERRY: Hmmm… I still don’t understand that. That’s a whole other interview! I honestly am still baffled by the closet thing. I don’t get it. There’s nothing you can tell me that would make me understand why people feel the need to hide who they are – under any circumstance. So, I can’t comprehend it therefore I can’t even answer it.

Perez Hilton starts talking about Adam Lambert at around 5:30 (So skip to around that) to hear what he had to say about Adam. He talks about Adam at Lady Gaga's birthday party. The things he said weren't nice. This is particularly confusing because Perez Hilton just said in another interview that he was inspired by Adam and his charity. Now this.

QUESTION:Tell me about the charity aspect of your birthday this year. What gave you the idea?

Perez Hilton: I was really inspired Adam Lambert. I saw that he used the opportunity of his birthday to raise money for a charity that he believed in, charity: water. I knew that I wanted mine to be a GLBT organization in light all the teens committing suicide last year and the bullying that's still going on. Trevor Project is amazing and I've referred a lot of people there, but GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) hasn't had as much press so I knew they could use it more.

By asking people to donate for my birthday, I've raised $12,000, but even more important than the money, is the fact that I've been talking about it a lot, and making people more aware. If GLSEN is able to get in the schools and do their work, hopefully kids wont feel the need to call the Trevor Project because they're suicidal.

Mike Catherwood, the DJ who made a homophobic joke about Adam Lambert in September of last year (2010), has been voted off the dancing competition show "Dancing with the Stars". He is the first person to be kicked off the show this season due to extremely low scores.
