Bonnie McKee Talks About Adam Lambert: Adam Is " the best singer technically and emotionally..."

''Adam is the best singer technically and emotionally that I've ever worked with. I had the privilege of vocal producing him - he can do anything. I love him to death and also he's SO funny...'' ~ Bonnie McKee

And I love how she talks about his personality, too, not just his voice. Shows how great he is as a person. We all know how funny and sweet he is.

She's another one that doesn't get enough recognition. She's written 9, #1 songs for other people, but can't get her own recordings on the radio.

Evidently Bonnie is a dedicated Glambert....and she has been lucky enough to spend quality time with him....so she knows what she's talking about!

Blu ... you're not the only one who would like to see Adam on Broadway....and you mean it as a wonderful compliment....AND you probably live in the New York area. IMO, Adam could probably go on Broadway almost anytime he wants. In the right role, he'd be marvelous, I agree.

But by touring, guest appearances, charity events, some TV appearances, Adam reaches the most number of his fans.....US!

Just think, if Adam was tied into a musical on Broadway, people would have to go to N.Y. to see him. I, for one, would not be able to do that...nor would most of his fans. So-o-o, only a relative few of us would be able to enjoy Adam on Broadway.

Also, Adam deliberately moved away from theatre-type performing, because he felt it too confining...same old format for each performance... he prefers the flexibility of live performing ...and he SHINES in that environment.

Oh sure, Adam will probably hit Broadway sometime in the future.... if the right role turns up, but he's certainly not in a hurry for it. Too many other "mountains" to climb first!

BUT a MOVIE...a MUSICAL... would work nicely, don't you think? Written just for Adam..YES!!

A new film with an original role for Adam would be perfect, IMO. He can do serious. He can do funny. He can do pathos. He can do sexy. He can do intellectual. Name it, he can do it.

Dee R Gee....What you mean is...."He can do ADAM!"

Exactly right.

And Adam SHOULD be at every music award show getting the recognition he deserves. He can sing circles around 90% of the people last night who were accepting awards and performing. I just wish that his albums would evolve beyond what they are so far. The last recognition he got was the Grammy nomination for WDYWFM, and THAT was a Pink song. When he does a cover of a song, like Rihanna's STAY, he chooses ones that are perfect for his voice and talent; yet, the songs from his albums do not really catch on. The Queen songs he does are also perfect for his voice, regardless of their genre. I may get slammed for this, but I am wondering if writing music isn't really his thing. I want more than anything for this young man to get accolades.

I still think the songs from his first album were the best and he didn't write them himself. But if he feels he can express himself more by writing songs than that is more important than getting 'accolades'.

When I was a lot younger, there wasn't much emphasis on singers writing their OWN music. If a good song turned up, sooner or later different singers would "cover" it. A singer didn't have to be a song-writer to be successful. Actually, singing and writing are two different talents...not necessarily both occurring in the same person.

In fact, when I like a song, I like to hear it sung by my favorite singers. The best interpretation (for me)may NOT be the original singer...so what?

There's a zillion songs I'd love to hear Adam sing. One day I'd love to have an album entitled "Adam Lambert BELTS the Favorites"! How 'bout that?

It should sit on the shelf next to.....(drumroll)... "Queen and Adam Lambert On Tour I,II, III and IV "! Oh My!
