Well, I hope that The Grammys is not only adding Adam's name to get hits on its website. Like that radio station B104 who will only play Trespassing Monday evening IF they get 1000 clicks (WTF???). NO other top Billboard artist has to work so hard to get their songs played on radio in the US. It's really a SHAME. Shame on you for not giving one of your best voices the coverage that he so deserves!

@B104 We'll play TRESPASSING on Monday at 9:00pm if Glamberts can get 1000 "yes" clicks by Monday at 5pm! ONE VOTE per person!

I like that B104 is giving us a chance to vote so they will play Adam. Especially with the one vote per IP address. Then they know it's not just a few fans voting hundreds of times. We've already done that so one vote is easy and if that's what it takes, I'll do it. I'm voting once from work and once from home.

In spite of the frustration factor, lets vote for Adam for whatever we can, for whatever it takes. It keeps his name out there, and so often it truly DOES count tremendously. And never forget that Adam absolutely loves and appreciates his fans for our loyalty and our constant support. I'll do whatever it takes to help make Adam the superstar he deserves to be (and already is really..). I've been there since the beginning for Adam, not giving up now or ever! Its a little galling to have to jump through all those hoops in order to get his music played when the stations should just be very very smart and just PLAY it already! but I suppose they like the drama and the hits so off we go again........Vote for Adam and his music...Please! : ))) I have to admit I don't vote in every single one..and don't have time to do it all day, every day (that darn real life thing, which has been very very busy lately for me..) ..but when I do have time to be on the 'net (like today: FINALLY a relatively "free" day), I'm there...

To everyone here, this is 12:04. I too have been supporting in every way that I can Adam Lambert since his very first AI appearance on my television screen. I just don't and never will understand why his fans have to do what other fans don't just to get his incredibly amazing music on the air. Adam has fronted one of the biggest bands in the world to huge, huge audiences and to rave critic reviews. What's the problem?

I agree completely with you. And I don't get it either. Or maybe (unfortunately..) in a way I do. And those of you who feel the need to explain it to me (ad infinitum) ..please don't..(Thanks..) I know all of Adam's history from A to Z (as do most who come here..all of us OG Glamberts..) so no need to rehash.

He's an amazingly talented performer with an awesome new album filled with fabulous songs/music. That should be enough in and of itself right there...Hoping radio finally gets their s*** together and plays the new single Trespassing. Seems perfect for Top 40 play.. Sounds very promising so far. This new fall season should bring Adam to us on TV shows once again..and I suspect he has some projects still under wraps..even if Idol doesn't happen there's a whole world of possibilities out there...He'll be making the rounds of the talk shows soon: Leno, Letterman, Ellen...and who knows what else..and then of course Pretty Little Liars..which opens up a whole world of opportunity I think. And the very important tween, teen, and young adult music market will get a load of him! He needs that demographic for sure....He works so hard for his money and exposure and it will pay off for him for sure.....with new fans and greater recognition by the music world and the world at large..I know, a little "rah-rah" but I really think its happening...The old saying "slow and steady wins the race" applies to Adam's career I think! He's no one hit wonder/flash in the pan for sure.......

I think the problem in the U.S., is because he is openly gay. Sometimes when I mention him to people, the first thing they say is, "He is gay"? Like its strange I like him so much? Overseas he seems more popular, I don't think they have a problem with it. They seem like they embrace him with open arms. Just my opinion.. But that is not going to stop him here, for sure.

I could not get a vote button up to that radio station B104on my IE so I switched to google chrome and presto there it was, over a thousand votes now.

@1:59 It is 102.9 in Dallas. No official ad dates have been given. Adam is doing the Texas show with Gavin Degraw, Alanis M. and P2. This is why they added so early.B104 said they would play it on Monday. We need to request once a day to these stations and politely. Don't want the stations to get mad at us and hurt Adam's chance of getting played.

B104 said GLAMBERTS DID IT. They will play Trespassing on Mon Sept 10 at 9 PM EST.

On 102.9 Dallas 5 at 5 Trespassing came in #1 !!! We did it there too Glamberts!!!!Just one day on their station and it got #1,yes!

When Nicki M was interviewed at the VMA's last night, she was asked about being a judge on AI. She was very coy and just said "no Comment". I don 't think that is finalized at all. Sounds very iffy.

I sometimes wonder what other star's fans are "punished" by having to jump through all these hoops to get radio play? Does this happen to other fandoms? Whatever the case, we HAVE to do it. I voted on the Grammy poll and the radio poll. Adam MUST get a Grammy nom. It would sure make up for the Idol debacle. NM is a waste of airtime.

Looks like the Madonna and Chris Brown fans have discovered this poll. I tried voting more than once and yes, all it says is that my "vote has been counted." So how do we know? All we can do is keep it up and hope for the best. Of course, this poll does not determine who gets Grammy nominations, but it would be great for Adam to win this one just the same. It's weird but just reading that Trespassing made it to No.1 in one Dallas station made me cry!
It's an uphill battle that any win even how small I celebrate and give thanks to GOD!
Like every time I'm out and hear an ADAM song being played, it stops me with the biggest smile on my face and get teary-eyed for that small triumph.
All these small happiness and joy of my heart, I give thanks always.

I don't give a damn whether it DEFINITELY counts or not ... if my vote can even REMOTELY help ADAM to win I'll vote as many times as possible daily. It doesn't have to be an ABSOLUTE for me to VOTE!! Also, regarding Hrammy's (and I think Glitzylady may have mentioned this before?) - remember - Esperanza Spaulding beat Beiber... so, strange things can happen with the Grammy's, which have, traditionally anyway, been concerned with QUALITY. They have absolutely skewed towards SALES and numbers in the past half decade, but still, I believe they care about their legacy, a legacy of supporting QUALITY and longevity. I will vote on that poll.

Yes, I mentioned recently the Grammy "Quality" over sales (and vice versa..) situation that still occurs occasionally, and was thinking exactly the same example as you mentioned: That Esperanza Spaulding came out of nowhere and won a top award over the more "popular" artists, such as Bieber, etc....., and was certainly the talk of the Grammys and the music world after her win. And it is still very possible that Adam could certainly receive some nominations for a Grammy, based on the QUALITY of his work. His Trespassing Album is critically acclaimed by those who actually "know" music and although I'm certainly an "OG" (long term and **enthusiastic***) Adam Lambert fan, I do listen to and like many other artists and music genres, and I truly feel he has done a fantastic job with his music and putting together his album. Radio has not treated him as well as we would like in spite of two solid singles, BTIKM and NCOE (a fabulous and gorgeous song...which should have gotten massive radio play in my opinion) which is so ridiculous and unfair. Hoping his new single Trespassing is given a chance... Anyway, its entirely possible that his album could come out of "nowhere", like Esperanza Spaulding's did, and surprise the heck out of everyone and win an award...Or even one of his singles..One never knows. I'm not naive or living in a dream world about this, and have to admit it's a relative long shot at this point, but given the right people who are nominating and knowledgable and listening to all of the (good) music out there, it seems he has a chance to be given the recognition and respect he deserves. It could give him the boost he needs to get the powers that be in radio a kick in the proverbial ass and play his music instead making lame excuses as to why they won't play it..I've heard 'em all. ("Not our demographic" BS etc..) As an aside, I've made it a habit to buy the annual Grammys CD, which is a compilation of various Grammy nominated music, and which included WWFM in 2011. It gives me, and others, the opportunity to discover music that I may not have heard otherwise and has led me to some artists who I now have in my music collection. (Nope, not just Adam..although he's my favorite : )) Adam being nominated for a Grammy, and having a song included on that Grammy CD would be so exciting. Not holding my breath at this point but not counting out the possibility either! The WWFM nomination was a total shock to Adam and a happy and wonderful surprise to us fans...I hope it happens again. : ))))))))))

Glitzylady, do you really have to spend so much time repeating information that most of us know or are capable of seeking out for ourselves?? If you wish to pass on information simply give people a link so they can go there themselves. As far as giving opinions that's fine but once again surely you can give an opinion without so much detail. Other fans like to have a say too and it's a bit unfair to them if your constantly taking up unnecessary space and time.
