Looking good! I hope Paris is ready to have large concerts by the Jan. 26. They are dealing with a huge tragedy and a huge upheaval right now. Fingers crossed that the show will go on for QAL.

France seems to be standing up to terrorists and I know Adam played a concert in Moscow where he had been threatened.

OT tidbit, if you like to vote on polls, Adam and Queen have a healthy lead in the Ultimate Classic Rock Awards Tour of the Year poll. There are lots of big names on the list. The poll ends on Feb. 3. You can vote once an hour. Other acts are gathering votes and we need to keep on voting. It would be nice for QAL to win over some major acts. Vote if you like. Hope the link works. You'll have to copy and paste.

@DeeRGee
Thanks for the reminder to vote on that poll.....I've voted but not in the last few days!

Has anyone heard of a LiveStream for the Newcastle concert tomorrow? Would love to watch if it's available. Thanks :)

So many concerts in such a short time makes me nervous for Adam's voice.

I hope the white pants come out for the opening of this leg of the tour like they did here in the US :)

He stopped wearing the white pants, didn't like the look of them on him.
Adam is used to many concerts, his first tour after Idol he did over 140.
I hope we get some videos soon after the 13th, They are 8 hours ahead of us, I would like to wake up on the 14th and be able to see some.
Also this week we have Adam on American Idol as one of the judges
on Thursday.
He will be in Germany for his birthday on the 29th. Hope they get the crowd to sing Happy Birthday to him, if not I hope they celebrate afterwards, but not too late, he has to be in Amsterdam the next day. Maybe Sauli, if he is back in Finland , can hop over to see his show in Amsterdam, and wish him a happy birthday.

That looks like a very chilly schedule....Europe in winter brrrrrr......

I think under the lights on stage, they will be pretty warm. But Adam better be wearing his nice heavy coat and scarves, when he leaves the building. You are right JAK, it is definitely BRRR. But he has been over there for a few weeks now, so getting used to it, may be. I lived in the UK for 14 years, and never got used to the winters as a child. For some reason, my family never owned an umbrella. I don't know if they had stopped making them during the war, because of the mettle used, or what ever the reason. I think I was the only person in England who also never had a bike. Unreal, at that time bikes and busses were the mostly used form of transportation. I walked a lot, or caught a bus.

Posting a pic for this thread with Adam in his famous AWOL white pants is a bittersweet tease... ;)

Perhaps we members of the Glamily should compose an 'ode to the white pants' and mourn them properly. lol

................AN ODE..............

Hail to thee white pants.......
Wherefore art thou?
Have thee been discarded?
Pushed to the back of the closet?
Gasp.....perhaps given away?
Nay, nay!

Oh, the joy, the memories they inspire,
Please say that they will be worn again.
That they will once more delight our eyes.
I beseech thee sir listen to our plea.
Bring them back...Bring them back,
For you don't know what they mean to me!

JAK - you are a hoot! Loved your 'ODE'! I don't comment here often - even tho I read it daily - but had to comment on your 'ODE'. Priceless! L

LOL, JAK!! I literally laughed out loud to your 'Ode'! Ah yes, "Hail to thee white pants..", indeed. lol...
I do believe, m'lady, that your composition does those long-lost white treasures justice. Brilliant!:)))

I don't mean to brag, but I must admit I got a bit of a thrill at the Chicago QAL concert when I first saw Adam on the big screen in THE WHITE PANTS.

JAK, love the poem and your creativity. The last 2 lines were a great Queen tribute. Wouldn't it be awesome to hear Adam sing Love of My Life? Freddie sang it exquisitely, and the vocal harmonies were killer!

I wrote Odes every week for the college newspaper.

Hail to thee O Abused Book
With thy pained and anguished look.
Pages written on, torn and crumpled
And your beautiful cover rumpled.
Long ago you were so sightly
Now many hands have held you tightly.
Never again will you be able to 'learn us'
For soon they will throw you in the furnace.

So silly they were, but great fun for me.

JAK... Your cleverness amazes me! Thank you thank you for sharing some of your talent with us, your Glamily... for all of our benefit. <3<3 :)))

RosiePosie... I say brag away! Feel free to share any time to hearts' content about your experience with Him...and 'Him' in... THE WHITE PANTS. (while we live vicariously through you ;))
