Adam is a beast of beauty.

I love that great photo of the three of them. Adam, of course, is especially handsome....and his black leather outfit is kick-ass!

Nice pics! All three look handsome in the second one.

I think he's getting into Queen mode. First know is in Lisbon on June 7. And if my calendar is correct, he has LGBT Q&A event with under-25 yr. olds on May 31. I hope we get to see that event. It sounds very interesting, and something that Adam should be very good at.

The LGBT event is in London.

I don't watch Idol, but I just heard that Bobby Bones, a country music DJ, will be a mentor on the finale. I guess he has mentored once before on this season. But apparently there has been no mention of a big musical guest act for the finale. Usually the show is hyping someone by now. So, there's going to be NO musical guest act on the finale? Seems odd.

Dee R Gee....I watch Idol and Bobby Bones has been the only mentor for Idol for the first weeks of the show. I've never heard of him until now from Idol. Next week will be a 2 nighter Sunday AND Monday! Ryan can announce on Sunday who will perform for the grand finale on Monday. Last Sunday Carrie Underwood was guest mentor and sang her newest single "Cry Ugly" ( hope I have the correct title). On the last weeks of April Nick Jonas was a guest mentor for one Sunday. There's no mention of musical guests for finale but Sunday for sure Ryan will tell us. There are 3 left, these 3 will be going to their hometowns! All 3 are great singers, 2 are in country, one female and one male and the other a female is pop with some country influence.

Dee R Gee....there's good news, two weeks ago during a commercial break I caught Ryan congratulating the judges for Season 2! So definitely Adam IS bound to appear on Idol next year, and performing his newest single ( by then we should of heard it ourselves) because Adam says by the end of the year his new music will be out. So I'm happy Idol will be back. Ryan just needs to announce it to the public! Lol

Maybe there is still a chance that QAL will be on the finale. Queen has the newly released Bo Rhap movie to promote. And QAL has the Vegas residency to promote. Adam always comes back each year since his own year. It would be a real full circle for Adam to perform on AI with Queen again. Maybe their appearance will be kept a secret until the night before the last show. I still have hope!

Even if QAL did not appear, but if Adam did a duet with a contestant, I'd be happy. But that likely won't happen since the contestants who are left are country singers (except one, I think). Anyway, I just think it would be great for Adam to get a little exposure on the show for old times sake.

Thanks, Mirela, for the link to the Bo Rhap teaser. It looks like it's going to be very good movie!

There is somewhat of a motley crew of guest performers for the Idol finale, including Kermit the Frog. No Adam or QAL, but I'm beginning to feel that that's ok.

Dee R Gee....Having Kermit the Frog for the finale makes perfect sense because Maddie Poppe one of the 3 finalist auditioned with Kermits "Rainbow Connection", to which the judges were impressed with her version. I too liked it, it was not sung corny or in a childish way but it was a lovely version. Oh Maddie plays the guitar also, a big plus. I wouldn't be surprised if Kermit and Maddie sang a duet. Gabby Barrett the other finalist is a young powerhouse, she did an amazing job with Miranda Lamberts "Red Wagon" and for Mother's Day she dedicated "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston for her mom. I would love to see Adam duet with her, perhaps Adam will surprise us and sing with her, but wishful thinking, sigh. 2 amazing girls, I like them both. Caleb Lee Hutchinson the last man standing has a deep voice and also plays the guitar. Seems like the girls like his deep voice, and yes he sings good but my money is on the girls. Was thinking someone like Jennifer Hudson or another diva can sing duet with Gabby, ( really I wish it would be Adam). So we shall see who's invited to the finale. You know what? Adam can attend the Red Carpet and after party to the finale right???? Why not?!

Sunflower, Thanks for the insights about the contestants. Now Kermit the Frog makes perfect sense. Rainbow Connection is a lovely song. I wish the remaining contestants good luck!

Someone just tweeted Shosh asking if Adam will be on the AI finale. She replied "NO."

So that settles it. No more wondering.

Apparently, Carrie was the only former Idol on the show this season.

Onward and upward, IMO. Adam's got lots of new stuff in the works.

Your welcome Dee R Gee. Oh well, we can hope for next year to see Adam on Idol. You're right he has a lot on his plate, so we'll take it one day at a time. The only other idol alum that came on was Trent Harmon who won the year before it ended on Fox. He was plugging his debut album.

We all keep thinking that this the SAME American Idol that Adam performed so brilliantly on.

But a thought....since American Idol is no longer a Fox program, I imagine the hierarchy is entirely different. If so, they may not have the same sense of loyalty and affiliation with Adam as the original Idol had.

If that's so, it's remotely possible that we will never see Adam on American Idol again. Just thinking.....I sure hope I'm wrong!!!!

Several of the past Idols have appeared on this season's show.. Guess we'll see what happens in the future re Adam & Idol appearances..

Dee R Gee said...

glitzy, thanks for the correction. I heard that there were two Idol alums on the show this season: Carrie and one young man from one of the later seasons who has a new single out. If there were more, I didn't hear about it. My sisters watch the show and sometimes keep me posted, but they didn't mention anyone else.

Sunflower said...

Glitzylady... Carrie Underwood and Trent Harmon were the only idol alums that appeared on the live shows. I'm not sure where you get that several idols appeared on the show? I'm thinking you're referring to those American Idol Icon segments, where a few of alums spoke for only seconds at the commercial break. I'm not counting those because it was video and not live. Perhaps during the auditions you saw an idol? Otherwise 2 idol alums appeared on the show.
