Such great memories with this tour, well in my case I didn't go to this one but I watched as many live streams as possible!

Wonderful Sharka!!! I must say... I spent my morning with coffee and Believe which then led to If I Can’t Have You Idol performance which led to Tracks Of My Tears which led to Welcome To The Show. Well then morning was gone! Lol I have to say that Adams earlier Idol performances were so good but his time with Queen has really powered his vocals so much! He has just become better and better which I thought was darn near impossible since he was already so good! Adam’s voice will never get old. He is the whole package. Morning coffee with Adam was time well spent!

Glamitup....yeah, that says it all. I can while away a whole morning or evening with Adam, and not even notice how much time has passed!

And he HAS become better....his voice is fuller and richer, and his interpretations of songs have become more "on point"!

'Spiders On Mars'

Marsbert touched down gingerly, climbed out of his crystal-ball spaceship, exclaiming...One futuristic step for mankind on Mars! He got into a space-car and it rolled smoothly over the red cratered surface. Technologically-clad in his state-of-the-art spacesuit, he got out of the space-car...excitedly, jumped! Whoa! he spiralled shooting upward...
Thud! landed on the top of a red mount. He was rather taken aback and sat down to catch his breath.
Suddenly something crawled up and sat beside him...oooh-la-la! a one-foot tall Spider! Marsbert froze in the extreme cold. He daren't move and then the Mars Spider nonchalantly ambled off...
What a sweet unobtrusive little giant...Marsbert wasn't so scared anymore and followed it.
They came to a rather unusual lopsided red mud cave and something was trickling down...
Eureka! I found it! Water on Mars! exclaimed Marsbert euphorically.
Mars Spider crawled into the irregular dome-shaped cave. At the entrance, he heard a shrill trill and lo and behold, a thousand more Spiders clamboured one on top of another. Marsbert was really scared now and turned to run for his life. Strangely, he couldn't move even a step. So he tried to jump, still no movement; he seemed weighted down by an enormous energy emanating from inside the Spider cave.
The army of bristly Spiders gathered round him, heaved him up and proceeded into the Red cave. It reminded Marsbert of his experience of Open Sesame, only this time these were not forty thieves but a thousand Spiders and he was not Ali Baba.

The Spiders dangled him onto a suspended web-like net that hung across the cave. He lay very still not knowing if the Spiders' silky-thread web could support his weight. His weight would be 38% of his actual weight due to the low gravity on Mars compared to Earth's. Anyway, to calm his nerves, he sang...

Lay me down in darkness...Tell me what you see...Show me I'm the one...tell me I'm the one that you need...da da da ah ah...
The Spiders seemed to respond to his ethereal singing; their exoskeletons started vibrating and sort of provided a beautiful backdrop like the snapping of fingers or rather, thousands of legs, 8 per spider.
Then some code-like squeaks bounced off the cave walls, addressing the assembly of Mars Spiders. It was Arachnoid SpiderKing.
Arachnoid invited Marsbert into his secret chamber and conversed with him in a strange language which Marsbert seemed to understand via Martian psychokinesis. It wanted to know more about Earth and soon they were immersed in a convoluted conversation by tapping into each other's brain-waves...
When they touched on the topic of music, Marsbert sang 'Spiders On Mars' and it thrilled Arachnoid immensely; its exoskeleton vibrated vigorously and its 8 legs got all entangled over its body haw haw. Maybe it was not used to Marsbert's powerhouse resonance hitting its little brain. Well, he did hit mine!
After what seemed like hours...Marsbert thanked the Spiders for their loving hospitality; they offered him little droplets of spring water they had painstakingly collected with their bristly legs. They then escorted him back to his spaceship and gave him a rousing exoskeletal send-off. SpiderKing waved its two front legs leading the pack which swayed and semi-floated in sychronisation to the tune of 'Spiders On Mars' that Marsbert sang as he lifted off into the pitch-black stratosphere. Wah!
Marsbert was absolutely mystified by their Martian intelligence and hospitality. 'This is the most uplifting encounter of the 5th kind!' Marsbert beamed at the waving Spiders from his spaceship window before vanishing in a swirl of Mars dust.

p/s...The recent Space conquests give me a boost to write my weird space stories, not so alien to me anymore. 🤗

Adam knows Marina Bay Float cuz his Original High Tour started right here. The video below shows Red Lions flying down circumventing tall buildings at breakneck speed, 200km/h...124m/h from a record height 10,000 feet / 3800m in the sky. Very dangerous! If you drive you would know how fast your car is speeding let alone free falling.
The other Original High videos recorded in the dark can't give details but this day-time video shows 25,000 spectators, same layout where Adam performed for 10,000 in the audience, local/regional. The NYE 2016 stage was on the Float itself, the seats erected beside the road facing The Float.

It all started off on a shaky footing when 20,000 church people petitioned against him in Singapore; lo and behold Saved by the resolute decision of 24,000 open-minded counter petitions! Outsider countries, including Adam's own country colluded with our local church people to sow division among Singaporeans, using Adam as the centre of controversy. I think Adam handled the hue and cry rather well, no harsh words from him; in the end the whole episode was squashed psssssh...and what's more that same year in Sept 2016, Adam returned with Queen, ole Brain May and Roger Taylor standing shoulder to shoulder with him. I think Brian was a little apprehensive after that episode; they tested it on stage to gauge Adam's Fans' reaction: Brian announced; 'I want to introduce to you, Adam Lambert.' And then SingBerts shouted: Adam! Adam! Adam! And when Freddie Mercury appeared on screen for BR, the applause was less vociferous compared with the Europe tours. But they wowed 80,000 at City Hall Dome / Padang a huge field not Floating anymore...Brian exclaimed 3 times on stage: Amazing!

Hellooo Adam! Your voice will fill Marina Bay; Another Lonely Night is still my favourite but The Original High and Ghost Town are fabulous and Singaporeans and foreigners alike, will appreciate them and other songs you will be singing.
The Float, the largest of its kind in the world, is actually a mega steel structure/foundation built into the seabed although it's called The Float; it's not floating per se or else half way through your singing, you might find yourself in the South Pacific; carried away by currents. Well, you won't mind that, would you, knowing what a daredevil you can be. 🌊🏝

Adam would be interested in this: Last night Muse performed for 55,000 after the Singapore Grand Prix 2019…on the same stage that Queen and Adam performed in 2016; can you see the similar buildings in the background…

Muse at Marina / Padang Grand Prix concert… circuit, most twists and turns and hot, night race. Muse performed their hits including Starlight that Adam did a cover of at the Idols Tour 2009; Matt Bellamy, lead singer wrote ‘Soaked’ for Adam’s first album FYE.
Adam was very impressed by Muse.

The 100m butterfly as it happened live an hour ago. Joseph in black cap, Quah Zheng Wen in white cap. It’s a Gold, Silver Final for Singapore at the 30th Southeast Asian Games 2019 in the Philippines. 11 countries in total. It’s a biennial event and these countries take turns to host it. Joseph’s 2016 Olympic record still stands at 50.39s for 100m butterfly.

Well well, my birthday is right at the top of the page
Also Int. Women’s Day !
Thank God I arrived in one piece
Amidst forsaken refugees, fighting, disease
A long and winding road indeed
But my country has taken heed
After WW2 we painstakingly rebuild from scratch
No resources just bare hands and feet, and brain !
Women of the World…most of the time we take a back seat
Don’t relent nor retreat…we delivered 7 billion babies, how about that ! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🍼🏫☯️
But that is only one huge feat…we are marching onward to our own drumbeat !
To make our World a safer place to live…🥰

To add on…The Super moon shone right into my bedroom window last night 8 March my birthday. I didn’t know it’s called Super moon…Derek Van Dam CNN announced it earlier on in the afternoon that it is extra bright because the Super moon is closest to the Earth in orbit. I thought I might not see it as a tall tree blocks the view from my window; Yes, Super moon was peeping behind the spreading branches of the tall angsana tree. So I waited until it moved above the tree in the sky; it was extra brilliant with a big halo ! Stared at it, could see faintly the image of craters. Thought about Yutu on the other side. Today is 9 Mar Singapore. I’ve also seen the Red full moon, just as bright as Super moon but with a reddish tinge, last month.

3 6 9 doubles up in above date the number that can unlock the universe. 👽😁

Story time …

>> Ghost Town Story

Bert was driving along a lonely stretch of road. Suddenly a road sign with arrows, caught his attention… >> Ghost Town.
Bert being the curious type, wanted to find out why it was named Ghost Town. He drove his beautiful black car into the inlet which seemed nice and sunny, a little bumpy. Soon he got into the estate; he looked around…rows of spic-and-span lawns and houses, vintage cars parked in the driveways.
He drove on hoping to meet someone as he was feeling a little hungry and wanted some directions to a restaurant for a tasty plate of spicy noodle. He looked left and right and he drove further into the estate.
He felt something strange about the whole place, neat rows of well-kept houses yet he could not see a single person walking along the road. So he decided to park his car to visit one of the homes. The doors were all ajar; Bert’s first thought was the people here were very trusting; got in front of an artistically-painted blue house; looked in and called out:

Hello! Hello! Is anyone there?… No answer…

He walked in and still found no one. He walked up a red carpet to the upstairs rooms. Bert was sensing something really out-of-this-world. He looked around…the house seemed well-kept, the beds all had clean bed-sheets, he even looked into the toilet, spankingly shiny.

He got back to his car and decided he would look elsewhere. Ahh finally, he found someone…sitting by a pond gazing intently into it. He got out and briskly walked towards the man who was gazing at the lovely orange and white koi swimming gracefully in the clear water. One in particular, had a black butterfly shape on its red body, the king koi. Bert walked up to the well-attired gentleman:

Good morning sir ! They sure look beautiful, don’t they?

The gentleman didn’t respond, not even aware Bert was standing next to him. Bert then gave him a tap on his shoulder.
Whoa! What was that?…Bert blurted out loud as he didn’t feel anything ! as if the man was a hologram !
He knew something was not right, eerie, and right about turn…he ran back to his car. He was panting and sweating, not knowing why. He regained his composure and then a grim thought came to him.

‘Am I dead…?’ He pinched himself…well, he felt a sensation…thank goodness! Bert thought.

He had enough of this silence everywhere…drove desperately back to the road entrance, just a short distance from where he drove in.
Lo and behold, he seemed to be driving round and round in a maze. He stopped his car…calmed his nerves and then tried again. In vain, he was making no headway. He banged on the steering-wheel hoping that might change things.

Beeeeep…What now?

‘You are trapped in the wrong time zone…’
A voice echoed from the outside. Bert wound down the car window…got out hastily to see if someone could direct him to the entrance. Goodness gracious! It was none other than the hologram man ! staring at him, smiling. Bert retreated and quickly got back into his car.

‘I can’t seem to be able to get out of this place…!’ Bert was feeling quite desperate.

He decided to get back to the koi pond. As he looked into the pond, the butterfly king koi swam towards him as if sensing he was in need of help; flipped into the air, faced a certain direction before splashing back into the pond and continued swimming in that direction. It seemed to be signalling something.
Bert got back into his car…this time he stepped on the accelerator and drove in the direction indicated by the koi…he would try anything to get out of this time trap !
It sped up a slope and screeched to a deafening halt onto the road, just past the >>Ghost Town signboard entrance ! He let out a deep sigh of relief…ahhh !

As he drove on, he noticed a man lying by the roadside and his car was badly damaged. An ambulance was parked nearby and the paramedic was administering resuscitation to the man. He seemed unconscious. Bert parked his car and got out to see if he could help.

Lam-My ~ continue...

Oooh-la-la, his time-collision course was not over yet. As he got nearer, he couldn’t believe what he saw. The unconscious man was a direct image of him ! wearing the same shirt, pants and even the same earrings ! What’s more, the bashed-in car had his number plate ! Noooo ! Am I dead? He pinched himself again. Ouch! It hurt !

Owoooh ! What’s that? …A doggo ! which seemed to have lost its way too. It started wagging its tail vigorously, Bert carried it back to his car.

Where’s my car? He looked all around; no sign of his Lamborghini. Bert and doggo then had no choice but to walk to the main road hoping to hitch a ride; still very perplexed where his car had vanished…
Suddenly doggo gave a loud howl…Owooooh! and scampered off in another direction; a twisted orangy path; Bert ran after it…there it was ! his Lamborghini gleaming in the sunlight.

Riinngg…a voice came on the car-phone : Hey Bert what happened, you are supposed to meet me at the sushi bar !

So what do you think…is Bert still trapped in Ghost Town ? 🌆🏎️

Covid-19 is sending a loud signal
That something so microscopic
Can cause a pandemic
Time to wake up…nothing is permanent
So help one another while we take cover
It’s at such times when the world is in lock-down
That I appreciate I can still write poems and stories
I’m alone yet I can communicate with anybody
Sounds like a paradox but has to do with infrastructure
Without which it’s not possible and therein lies the real ground zero 🏞🛤🏃🏻‍♀️🧫

Part 2 ~ New added on…Time Trap (above)

Bert drove his Lamborghini to meet his friend Pete at the sushi bar. He took a short cut via a tunnel; he was so relieved to see the light at the tunnel exit. And then, a guy waved frantically to hitch a ride; Bert, always very obliging, stopped his car and the guy got in.

Hi ! … no reply from the man. That was strange; for someone who finally managed to hitch a ride, would be ecstatic. Anyway Bert drove on and asked where he could drop him off. As he turned to look at him…Whoa! The hologram man from Ghost Town ! Bert was too stunned to touch him; the last time he did that, he felt nothing !

The car phone rang… ‘ Hello Pete, I’m almost there…you can start ordering, remember my favourite, crab meat on sushi…Hey Pete, sorry to keep you waiting ! There was no reply.

Just a footnote:
The story I wrote above (in 2015) was more of a Time Trap scenario as I’ve often wondered if a person’s spirit at death finds itself lost, trying to find its way back; so not about Ghost Town which was not released yet ! when I wrote my story; and so you can see the scenarios are vastly different. Later when I heard and watched Adam’s Ghost Town song/video, I borrowed the title but my Time Trap story remains the same, except for the last part, 2 that I added in last night.
The Ghost Town video was posted into my archive right after I published my Time Trap story yesterday and so included it above. 👻
