After seeing his reign at #1 on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown come to an end last week, Adam Lambert is heading back in the right direction -- up. On Saturday's new edition of the chart, "If I Had You" is now sitting in the #2 spot.

As usual, the main contributors for Adam's chart success are the devoted fans online who vote on a daily basis. He also gets some support from casual listeners who enjoy the song, but the main driving force behind artists on the VH1 countdown is the size of an artist's fan base. Lucky for Adam, he has one of the most devoted groups out there.

Adam Lambert's Keyboardist, Tommy Ratliff, will not be performing on the "Glam Nation Tour" for a while due to his father being very ill right now. Tommy left before tonight's show to be with his family.

Adam's drummer, Longineu Parsons (LP) confirmed this in his livestream early today.

Adam Lambert's 3rd single "If I Had You" continues to increase in digital sales and the radio plays! The song jumps 73-69 on this week's Hot 100.

Congrats to Adam!

Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta are having such success touring together that they've decided to keep going.

Due to popular demand and fan petitions by both Allison's fans and Adam's fans, Allison has been invited to continue on the Glam Nation North American Tour through the end of September.

Allison's biggest post-"Idol" hit is "Don't Waste the Pretty," featuring Australian rock guitarist Orianthi (also on the Glam Nation Tour). Billboard says that "Don't Waste the Pretty" "deserves to become for Iraheta what 'Whataya Want From Me' was for Adam Lambert -- a breakthrough record for an 'Idol' alum with outsize talent."

One lucky Channel 963 listener sits down and interviews Adam Lambert.



Even in the midst of a busy Glam Nation Tour, Adam Lambert is still finding some time within his busy schedule to chat. A new interview was posted Tuesday from when the "American Idol" singer was in Wichita, and it may be one of the most entertaining to date. Why? It was conducted by a fan.

It's always easy to tell which people are truly into Adam's music, since we will have the opportunity to hear some new questions that Adam can answer with enthusiasm. Take for instance when he was asked about what song on the tour means the most to him:

"They're all really special. I think in this show 'Aftermath' really hits a soft song for me ... that's a song I wrote to inspire people to take risks. There's a lot of interpretations for it. it could be coming out, it could be taking a step and being ... it's about taking the big steps in life. It's really personal."

Adam also said that Bruno Mars is one of his favorite singers out there right now, and that he really doesn't get too many chances to go down to his hometown of San Diego anymore.

Q. Be honest: Was Adam Lambert robbed?

A. I said on "Larry King Live" I knew Kris (Allen) was going to win because he had a big fan base. But now the numbers tell me Adam outsold Kris and that means he has a strong fan base, too. With "Idol" it doesn't matter who the winner is. What matters is who you're going to hear on the radio two years from now. Of the 90 or so contestants who have been in the final 13 over the years, you can probably count on two hands whose music is being played. If I'm still being played on the radio next year, I'll be pleased.

Party City's favorite "Glampire" Adam Lambert Sings for Donations to the Boys and Girls Club Charity at Party City's Halloween Bash. Party City Donates $400,000 from costume sales.

Party City, America's largest party specialty and Halloween retailer, celebrates Halloween early this year, as it generates excitement for kids who may not have otherwise been able to get into the spirit of the season. Through in-store customer donations, Party City has collected more than $400,000 to help support Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The donation was announced at Party City's third annual Halloween Industry Awards, Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, held at the company's annual Halloween Bash at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, Fla.

More than 300 Party City company executives, designers and other manufacturer representatives attended the awards event dressed suitably in Halloween costumes. Party guests were entertained by American Idol star, Adam Lambert, who came dressed as a "glam-pire" and performed hits from his season on Idol.

Adam Lambert has sold over 1 million albums worldwide -- this is a major feat in the changing musical landscape. According to the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, the singer's second single, "Whataya Want From Me," continues to do well -- coming in at number 10.

Train is still in the number one position with their single, "Hey, Soul Sister." Lambert's single comes just under another former American Idol contestant -- Chris Daughtry and his band Daughtry with their single, "Life After You."

Lambert and Daughtry have one of their major accomplishments in common -- their debut albums, after appearing on the hit singing competition have both gone platinum. They are both enjoying much success.

It is clear that Adam Lambert has become a superstar, and he has the talent, the hits, and the fans to prove it.

Lambert has said that the new album will be worked on in 2011. But do you think that another single should be released from For Your Entertainment?

There is no official confirmation other than the IMDB page but if Adam is really going to act in movies, that would be very exciting!

But good news from Canada! "If I Had You" is #1 again on the MuchMore's "MM Top 10" chart. It has been #1 on this chart for four weeks straight!

This top position is once again a reflection of Adam's performance in Canada, where his chart positions have typically been higher than here in the States. He has received more airplay in the country, and is also selling more copies digitally.

Once again, Adam Lambert is still making his way up the chart with new single "If I Had You". According to the newest Mediabase chart numbers released on Sunday, the third single off of the "American Idol" singer's "For Your Entertainment" is now sitting comfortable at #30. With an increase of close to 20% in airplay for the past week, he was able to jump up two spots over his position last week.

So where could Adam's song head next? As with all things airplay, it will likely depend on how much support he receives coupled with the performances of those around him. Some new songs by Nicki Minaj and B.o.B. could provide some sort of competition from below, but there are also some songs falling in airplay that should be at Adam's place (or below him) at this point next week.

Unless there is a major surge in airplay for "If I Had You", we can probably best predict that he will be up an additional spot or two by this time next week. It's a slow climb, but so far Adam has done nothing but improve his chart performances week-to-week with this song.
